We need a qb. If we don't trade up to grab bortles. Then I say forget the qb positing all together this year and pick up Mariota next year FOR SURE. I wanna see how Winston pans out too.

That might be the worst strategy I've heard yet. So you want to gamble on another QB (that personally, I am not impressed with) and give up half of our draft??? Just because we need a QB doesn't mean we need to grab one in the first. Did you forget how bad our defense was??

Until we take a qb high. It's hopeless.

I don't disagree with building your team until the right qb comes, take Seattle for instance.

The thing is, historically, you have just as much chance at failing by drafting that quarterback at the top of the draft as you do succeeding.

All our team does, is take good players that deserve super bowls ( moss, carter, randle, mcdaniel, r smith, people eaters, Tarkington, peterson etc etc) and wear them out behind #### qbs so they go the rest of their lives hating the purple for not doing what they needed to win. We have zero super bowls doing what you guys keep saying we have to do. There's always going to be a hundred holes all over our team, because all we are ever doing is rebuilding.

Aside from the favre year... We've been rebuilding since 2001.wtf you guys. How can you guys not be dying for a good qb.

I don't think anyone here wouldn't love to get the next great QB. But the 'greatest quarterback ever' just got his #### punked in the Superbowl by a DOMINANT TEAM. They have a very sound quarterback, but you can't expect one player, even a quarterback to make up for the total amount of #### that we have on defense right now.

What makes you think Bortles is going to be SOOOO much better then Derek Carr? The one thing Bortles has going for him is his size and athleticism. Throwing wise, I am not impressed with his arm at all, footwork is average to below, and was the king of throwing to his first WR and not going through his progressions.

Also, why trade up for one of those QB's?? None of them are another Andrew Luck. We have gotten desperate before and look where that got us. Do you really want to do that again and give up A LOT of valuable picks? No thanks.

I don't Care who it is or when it happens, as long as its soon.

They aren't Andrew luck, but we had a shot at him twice.

We didn't lose the games we should have to position for that draft like we should have, we actually fought to lose the number 1 pick that year... But I won't get into that.

Then we could have at least taken rg3 with a trade up... But no.

This team had historically made terrible decision after terrible decision.

It ends with trying to get the most important position does for the next 15 years. Not the next 1 to 2.

You Viking fans and your mind set that the team is 2 to 3 years away from being good, we just Gotta fill these holes and get a game manager behind center, blah blah blah.... It's played out and got us nowhere.

Real teams.... find qbs. Look at the Packers.

And the reason this teams management gets away with it... Cuz the fanbase thinks they're doing what they should be...

Zimmer And turner hires were awesome. Loved Em. But we need a qb. The bengals are a prime example of what having a decent team with no qb gets you.

The vikings will look like the bengals the past 4 years, if we don't get a qb. And fast.

And btw, bortles is the most promising prospect this year. You guys and your espn crap. Watch some tape
