Is life in prison actually life in prison or would he eligible for parole?NextQuestion wrote:Actually in if he's found guilty in Louisiana he could be serving life.
Well, I don't know if coming off as self centered always = someone being a potential serial rapist.Angels Wings wrote: Is life in prison actually life in prison or would he eligible for parole?
To be honest, watching him on NFL Network, he seems like the type of self-centered guy that would do something like this...
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/20 ... n-sharper/“After conducting many interviews and collecting substantial evidence, the New Orleans Police Department issued an arrest warrant for Darren Sharper, who is accused of the aggravated rapes of two women in New Orleans,” Police Superintendent Ronal Serpas said in a statement. “If convicted of these crimes, Mr. Sharper may be sentenced to two life sentences in prison. This police department was not willing to negotiate with Sharper’s attorneys considering the dire seriousness of these allegations.”
BREAKING: Darren Sharper charged in Tempe, Ariz., with two counts of sexual assault and three counts of administering dangerous drugs.

This guy obviously has issues and needs to not be in the general population...
Nor use Vasaline or spit...Cliff wrote:I don't think the guys in jail will be kind enough to drug Darren before the act.
In all seriousness though, it would be nice if this all turned out to be untrue.
Good work!Superman wrote:Geeeeeeeez. I took a considerable amount of joy in cutting up and throwing away his jersey after the 09 game we shall not speak of. Good instincts.
Sad stuff, if true. Hard to believe it isn't, given the similar testimonies. The photograph was in the 2010 book “NFL Dads Dedicated to Daughters,” compiled to promote “thoughtful discussion about making the world a safer place for all women.”
On Page 90, Sharper wrote: “My daughter makes me mindful of how women are treated, undervalued and exploited.” He instructed men to “deal with women respectfully, honorably and fairly at all times.”
Now, four years later, Sharper is scheduled on Friday to be in a courtroom in California, one of five states where he is facing accusations of sexual assault. Since retiring from football in 2011, Sharper has been accused of being a serial rapist, drugging and assaulting nine women in California, Arizona, Nevada, Louisiana and Florida.
Hopefully he and Hernandez can share a cellTexas Vike wrote:"NFL Star Who Spoke Out for Women is Accused of Being a Rapist"
