I blame Adrian Peterson, the job saver. Had he not had the season he had last year, Milquetoast, Muskrat, and Williams, would all have been gone at the end of last year after our 2nd consecutive disaster season. And boy Blunder wouldn't have been the anointed starter this year. Henderson wouldn't have been ahead of Cole all year, and Rhodes wouldn't have been behind Robinson all year. Patterson would have been more involved a lot sooner, and Jennings and Wright wouldn't have been so non existent thanks to boy Blunders inability to see the field.
Without Frazier and Williams, this gawd awful cover 0 crap wouldn't be here losing games for us either and we're probably division leaders right now. Thanks a lot AD, you screwed everyone and set us back 2 years because you made all those bums look much better than they were last year. The only "coaching" Frazier has ever done, was he kept feeding AD the ball in 2012. Man it's like we have our very own Bill Walsh.
"Our playoff loss to the Vikings in '87 was probably the most traumatic experience I had in sports." -- Bill Walsh
I don't buy ANYONE making an arguement that Last year was some victory. The ONLY reason we made the post season last year was AP. He carried the whole team by himself. We had NO passing game, We had an invisible secondary that made no interceptions. We had a moronic coaching staff that could only rightfully brag that they gave AP the ball and got out of his way. The only part of our team that was commendable last year were AP and our special teams, who kicked well and actually covered run-back well for one season. This year our special teams have REGRESSED, Our QB has been a failure with NO development, Our game planning sucks, OUR DEFENSE has gotten old and crappy. We actually have the best set of receivers that I can recall since Moss & Carter, BUT we cant get the damn ball to them. WILF needs to wake up, hire an experienced GM who has won big time, and let him hire a completely new coaching staff and TALENT EVALUATORS.....then build. God, I am sick of having to start over so many times!
AD is not the only reason we got into the playoffs last year. I have held back from saying this for awhile, but no one else seems to be saying it so I want to get it out there. I feel like everyone's forgotten how well our defense played, and how big a role they played in the stretch of games that got us to the playoffs.
Which is why this year's defense has been so surprisingly horrible, considering their play last year, especially down the stretch.

I've said it a bunch of times so you're not alone.
It took a team effort to get to the playoffs this year, just like it has taken team effort to go down in flames this season.
Occam's razor (also written as Ockham's razor from William of Ockham (c. 1287 – 1347), and in Latin lex parsimoniae) is a principle of parsimony, economy, or succinctness used in logic and problem-solving. It states that among competing hypotheses, the hypothesis with the fewest assumptions should be selected.
The application of the principle often shifts the burden of proof in a discussion.[a] The razor states that one should proceed to simpler theories until simplicity can be traded for greater explanatory power. The simplest available theory need not be most accurate. Philosophers also point out that the exact meaning of simplest may be nuanced.
No need to nuance here.
Start at the top and work your way down and adjust your percentage of blame as you go. Just like your favorite team, they are only as good as the weakest link.
Don't hate on my Buckeyes. Some of the best Vikings went to Ohio State.
Including now, HOF WR #80 Cris Carter
I agree. We hid our weakness (Ponder and Musgrave) well. I knew they were frauds. And I think we have a lot of talent on offense, but nobody has been at the wheel. Who has been a leader on this offense for the last 2 years? Ponder? Bwahaha. AP? AP is a great running back and certainly inspiring, but I don't see him as any kind of leader. Cassel tried to take command but they yanked him. Hopefully that gets fixed this time around, and hopefully we get better coaching next year (don't hold your breath)
