Afraid to let anyone go onto the field, but they let 30,000 or more people still sit in the stands. Huh?
Lol. Good point. Anyways, finally starting! Yay!

Well, Manning looks like he's still got it.

Crikey....what a butt stomping.

Manning and the Broncos look good eh?

Have to wonder what giving all that money to one player (Flacco) does to wreck the depth of a team. They sure could've used Boldin tonight, rather than 37 yr old Stokely. Dallas Clark? A 5th rd rookie is the 1st O-lineman off the bench? That might be common....I don't know. But when you are paying your QB elite money, it's got to be troubling not to have quality depth along the O-line.

If Ponder blew up this year for 28tds and 4000yds what kinda of contract would he command? And between that and AD's money what would be left for the other stand outs?
You really have to pick your poison when it comes to these big contracts.

Did I mention that Manning looked sharp? He probably had stretchy pants on underneath~

7 TD's. Last guy to do it before tonight was Joe Kapp

Even if the Vikes have a tough year, we still get to watch our beautiful running back ascend up the all time list. I just hope the passing games comes with this year. Gonna also be fun watching our 3 firsts develop into NFL players.

Amazing. Absolutely #### amazing.

When you see real talent on a football field, you don't say "well, his offensive line didn't look so good", or "his fullback was unable to consistently pick up the blitz", or "they were shown so many defensive looks". What you say is "#### ME!", those guys are absolutely #### amazing.

Yeah, that's a little like "Even though I lost my house to foreclosure, I had a really awesome vegetable garden this year."

Close-lining was the nicest thing I did to my little brother while playing backyard ball!

I hear you, Breeze, it is a nostalgic time. But ever since I moved to TX some 10 years ago the seasons are all funked up. It's still in the high 90s by the start of the season, no hint of autumn in the air. By mid season it's gorgeous: 70's and sunny. Makes sitting on the couch watching a game on Sunday afternoon a bit tough. I almost yearn for a blizzard to justify it!
I don't know about age difference...mid 20s over here (although med school makes it feel like mid 30s sometimes) and also having a brother who isn't too interested in sports also changes things I suppose.

Could be a generational thing too. Backyards are kinder and gentler than they were 30years ago IMO.

But I think Tex meant the age difference tween you and your bro.
