There will always be excuses from the Ponderholics.

It seems like nearly every poster on this forum has said, now he has no excuse at all. With the addition of what most consider to be a "number one" receiver. That's the position I am in. If he isn't a solid starter by the end of this season then he is gone. That said, giving him anything less than this amount of time and effort would have been stupid.

Some how I don't think we have 60+ million in cap space for cruz but I could be wrong.

If they get Cruz, there can't be. You have AD, Jennings, Rudolph AND you get Cruz? C'mon, "Ponderholics" as you call them, cannot have ANY excuse if he has a bad year with that.

Jenning's contract is in, $5 million dollar cap hit bringing us to about $6million under the cap according to Pelissero.

I know I'm speculating here but we are not getting Cruz. It's fanatsy to even suggest it. It would require a max money contract and a 1st round pick .

Not going to happen.

That's good news.

What's the number we need for the draft picks? $7million?

Anyone......?

Then he'd have two receivers he's never taken a snap with! You can't judge him when he has *no* chemistry with his wideouts! He needs at least a season to get on the same page. And neither of them have played in this offense, so there's an adjustment period there! And Jennings is coming off an injury maybe he isn't 100%!

Ponder til his contract runs out!

Should be able to find a way to fit Urlacher under there.

I know virtually nothing about that stuff but this site estimates it at $5,452,414 (if I'm reading it correctly).

If the Vikes are going to sign a free agent MLB, they'd be better off going with Dansby.

If the Vikes aren't done with free agency, here's SI's "best of the rest":
