They only have 3 NFL caliber WR on the roster right now, PH, JR, and JS. The rest are highly suspect. I can't imagine them adding more than 2 to this mix assuming they bring back JS. IMO that will leave the #6 spot for GC. I think the only way they cut ties with him is if something medically comes down that rules him out for the NFL. Otherwise he'll go into training camp. My guess given the dismal state of the position is that he'll get a roster spot for at least 2013. After that, he'll need to earn it.

Percy Harvin, Jarius Wright(?), and Jerome Simpson?
Jerome Simpson is a free agent. Jarius Wright is ok, but nothing special. I'm guessing he'd be 4 or 5 on many teams. Hell, if the Vikes draft a high rookie and sign a FA WR, he'll probably be a 4 on
this team.

I think JWright will improve this coming year. I think Ponder and Wright will be spending some time together this offseason. Wright strikes me as the type of player that has the drive to become a starter. I like the kid a lot, and I am excited for his future.
It would seem that maybe J Wright may take the place of Percy. And any more info on gregs recovery.

Interesting. I wonder if this is wishful thinking, if he's out of the loop on his rehab (unlikely) or an indication that it's going well.
I asked Frazier which young players he is hopeful can step forward. First name was Greg Childs, admitted it'd be unprecedented. #Vikings
