Learn how and when and from whom you get this sort of rumored info.
Ponder. Is. Starting.
End of story.

A successful coach needs a patient wife, loyal dog, and great quarterback - and not necessarily in that order.

That's my guess... but I appreciate you sharing the info anyway!Orion wrote:
Agreed. It was definitive in the announcement but possibly misinformed or a hasty announcemt.
I agree that if Ponder's injury is going to affect his passing ability in the cold weather, sitting him down and letting him rest could end up being a good idea.

Pellissero would have tweeted if anything was official. He hasn't even speculated yet.

There's nothing in there where one can say "more likely". It's just more fear and rumor before a game - happens all the time.whatdaproblemis0 wrote:http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/20 ... r-vikings/

For those waiting for the live tweeting of the Ponder-Webb battle for the starting job, no one has taken the field yet.

oof. i doubt the rumors are true. i've been pulling for webb to get a shot for a while now, but i would rather this not be the time. however, he is an explosive runner. if he starts and the vikings ask him to do next to nothing, it might work out.

Yeah let's start taking shots at other posters.Purple bruise wrote:And the Grinch's heart shrunk back down to it's usual diminutive size. Imagine complaining that Ponder is letting every one down by intentionally hurting his elbow
You're a real class act you know that? How about we discuss the Vikings, not each other? M'kay friend?
