That does seem to be the case but also it seems to be true that when a team has a week to prepare for Webb he flounders at least as bad as CP . I know that Webb is the second coming people will say " what about the Eagles game " that is is high-water mark I am afraid , let me pose it this way , if the coaches believed that Webb had " IT " would they have drafted CP and or signed McNabb?John_Viveiros wrote:I like Webb. Definitely more zip on his passes. Man I forgot how fast he can run. Damn. This guy is way underrated IMO.Then we should use him as the Niners use Kapaernick. What if he plays poorly against the Seahawks... you give him another week? What if he stinks it up in the next game? At that point, our playoff hopes would be very dim. They keep playing him, keep working with him, keep developing him for the rest of the season. At that point, they evaluate him along with everyone else and if the team doesn't believe he's their guy, they move on. Webb is no RG3. I like the guy but to put him at qb was a mistake in my opinion. You have to stick with Ponder until he alone is the reason you are not wining games.
