Our #### kicker has a cannon for a leg and we can't even get him an attempt.
Can't take a sack there Ponder. We were already in field goal range for Blair.
And then we have to throw to the sidelines, and he throws a 1 yard pass that ISN'T at the sideline.
Ponder has no awareness. He had no idea he couldn't step up there and he took the sack.
Vikings are going to have to go back to the well for a QB again this offseason... !@#$!@#%!@#%

question is, why do you call plays with 1, 2 and 3 yard routes
That's the extent of our QB's effective range.

I can't believe that they haven't figured out yet that Schwartz is better than Fusco at right guard. Why do they go back and forth between them?

They don't trust any of the components of the deep passing game: the line to protect for 5 seconds, WRs to get open and Ponder to put a decent zip on his pass.
The commentator put it best, when the pocket collapses Ponder loses all confidence and panics. Wilson does the opposite. You can already see that he has "it". I am starting to think that Ponder does not and never will.

Seriously, was that last series all Ponder or was it at least in part the OC because there was NO REASON to throw 2 yard dump offs with the time left.

i dont think Ponder trusts any of his receivers. I'm not trying to make excuses for ponder, he is sucking pretty badly. I'm just saying it feels like he has zero trust in his receivers, look at some of Luck's throws today into double coverage throws it up knowing his guy will make a play on the ball. Do we even have anybody that would do that? At least from Ponder's perspective it doesn't seem like we do.

Why can't we see Ponder step up and throw down the field? I know we have crap wide recievers, but can we at least make a down the field pass? Show something different?

The offensive Coordinator is just brutal and that will never change I dont care who is at QB Musgrave is ball less in the Chilly KAO mode , playing not to lose again and again instead of attacking and playing to win .

Is Kyle Rudolph running around with boxing gloves on his hands? Why don't we atleast target him a few times during a half?

I have never disliked a member of the Vikings as much as I dislike Ponder, ever. Not even Troy Williamson. He does nothing for this team. Misses a wide open WR once again. Cant step away from a sack, looses us yards. Its at the points when he completes a pass to a wide open receiver everyone is shocked. His head isnt in the game.
Time to call up NE and see what they want for Mallet. If we want a QB making rookie mistakes, lets at least have a QB playing for the first time. Maybe give him an outside WR too.

He has awful pocket presence and he clearly panics under pressure. He's chicken and you can't coach that out of him.

He's thrown effective 10-15 yard passes. You can dislike him all you want, but he has thrown DECENT mid-range passes.

I dont think its that Ponder doesnt trust his receivers its that he doesn't trust himself and that means he needs to be benched , you cannot leave a guy out there playing scared . That is not fair to the entire team you could see that Harvin wanted to kick Ponders #### after that hurried bubble screen attempt , Frasier you have to recognize you are gunna lose this team like Chilly did if you dont step in and do something .

I feel the same way for some reason. The way he plays just makes me mad. He's as bad as TJack, but he was drafted much higher and should be capable of throwing more than 3 yard passes.
