I blame the coaches for not just telling Ponder to knee it, or run it with Peterson. Why throw when a guy has already thrown an interception in that area?

The seahawks are opening their playbook with Wilson. I'm sure we can open it up with out QB
Really? Did you see that int?
Did you see Favre's INT in the NCFC?
14-7 lead. 2 great scoring drives. Let's win another half. Go Vikes!

End of 2nd quarter
Vikes 14
Cardinals 7
Good game so far. We've made some mistakes and had some stupid penalties, but at least we're up

Need to get Mr. Rudolph and the WR's involved in the game here. Harvin had 4 catches, WR's caught 2 balls, Peterson caught 1... that's it. 54 yds total passing in the 1st half and 2 INT's... horrible.

Is there anyone here that honestly doesnt cringe when they see Ponder Rollout to throw? He reminds me of Bobby Wade returning punts. Every time he did i cringed.

That was a ridiculous last minute of play calling and coaching/quarterback decisions.

Defense is playing well, but several flags on special teams have hurt the Vikings especially on the first play of the game.
Get better field position and keep feeding AP! The Cardinals have not been able to stop him

I just the replay on Red Zone. That didn't look like a legit INt to me so I'm surprised it wasn't reversed.
I don't know what the Vikes were thinking on that play. There's no reason to throw it in that situation unless they were looking deep. Maybe they were and then Ponder just made a bad decision when the protection broke down.
It looked like Ponder might have been hit while making the throw but I couldn't tell. Either way, he should have been looking to
throw it away and he clearly wasn't. They need to DRILL that into his head at halftime. Throw it away if there's no play there. No more risky throws on the run, especially in Vikes territory. He's trying too hard to make things happen when plays break down. he wasn't doing that a few weeks ago so I'm not sure why he's pressing now. He's shown he can play smarter than this and he needs to get back to doing it.
Fortunately, the Cards missed the FG after the INT that wasn't an INT so in the end, there was no real harm done.
If the Vikes stop committing penalties and if Ponder takes care of the ball in the second half, the Vikings should be able to win this one. The defense needs to set the tone by stopping the Cardinals quickly to start the second half.

That's on the coaches AND Ponder. The guy he was throwing to wasn't gonna go for 70 yards. Stupid equally on the coaches and Ponder. The coaches should have said "NO PASSING." And Ponder should have thought, "NO PASSING". Idiotic move on both sides.

Why is Frazier even throwing the ball dep in his own end. Ponder should not be so careless but Frazier should know better. Hand it to AD and see if he can break one.

No they aren't. We are killing ourselves. The refs are calling a decent game, IMO.

I think Ponder might have been hit on the arm has he threw.
