Flowers is a good competitive football player. They put him in slot last year a lot and that is not his strong suit. I would not break the bank to get him, but Rhodes/Flowers on the outside, and Munnerlyn in slot sounds a lot better to me than Rhodes/Robinson-Cox on the Outside and Munnerlyn in slot.

Flowers opposite Rhodes would be decent corners. Much better then what we have now.

The vikings have at least contacted Flowers people to see what the chances are..
If we can manage it I think we should grab him our secondary would jump up a notch for sure

A source tells the Star-Tribune that free agent CB Brandon Flowers will not be visiting the Vikings.
The Vikings made a call on Flowers earlier this week, but it doesn't look like there's a deal to be made here. It's probably for the best anyway. Flowers is not a fit in the press scheme Mike Zimmer likes to run.
