His coverage grade was in the 80s according to PFF. He actually had quite a few INTs too. 4 in his career
I'm thinking maybe a "big nickel" guy ala Jayron Kearse. I saw a few highlights, he's physical but doesn't play the ball much. I get the strategy, you build through the draft and every pick gives you a better hit rate. But I think there is a happy medium and Rick does go a bit overboard. And why is it he never uses any of these picks on QB?
I'd like to see some competition or even having Sloter take over the #2 spot and developing someone else. Looks like they grabbed a UDFA but I'd be nice to see a 5th or so used on a QB once in a while.
