Is it just me, or do the colors of the sleeves and the jersey do not match one another?

Not just you. All the other pics revealed so far indicate a darker purple, while that jersey pic has a lighter, bluer one. (More like the "current" uniforms.)

I also don't like the curved corners on the 2 compared to the notched ones on the 8. Mismatch.

That is actaully not that uncommon. I have found many number fonts that have rounded corners but sharp lines for the notches in the 3 and the 8. Some form of a block font is whats most common in the NFL especially more traditional jerseys. In my opinion this image was done so that we dont know exactly what the font is but have some idea. I feel like its going to be a newer variation of some kind of block font. If I had to guess it would be close to what the LA Clippers do.

I was hoping that they'd keep the gold piping on the numbers.

Are these shoulder stripes going over the top of the shoulders, or around the side? Can't really tell. Seems most uniforms have numbers on top of the shoulders these days.

Combining what the Vikings have revealed about their uniforms so far,

I like it. I think the white will have the "UCLA/LSU" stripes on white similar to the "traditional" look. We haven't seen anything from the helmet yet, other than being relatively sure the logo isn't changing.

I hope the stripes on the pants are that simple. I'm afraid, though, that we're going to get some kinda curved horn/sword thing again.

Didn't see this posted so I thought I'd share it. The new uniform is on the left, the old is on the right.

I think you might be right. It seems like Nike is taking a lot of inspiration from these jerseys:

I'll bet there isn't another stripe. Look at the hint for the pants. White pants with an all purple side panel and a single gold stripe in the panel. It's a bit asymmetric. I wish they had done it like the 49ers pants, with the side panel the same color as the pant, then a traditional three stripes down the panel.

I wonder if there will be a clue for the helmets? Or are the clues done?

I just hope we don't have the triangle horned shaped logo on the pants. SOLID STRIPES!

They should be done with the clues. All the reveals have been on Thursday and this Thursday is the draft, when they've promised to reveal all of it.

I think we're going to get them. I hope so. I hate that horn shape on the pants.
