Finally a punter, Eisen has been waiting all day for that.

The scouts are talking in the "war room" right now:
"Dude, we got to F around for 6 months "scouting" players and then steal the cliff notes from CBS.com…. sweet gig, eh?"

I have no idea how Yankey dropped into the 5th after being generally considered a 1st round talent until fairly recently. He's obviously pretty bright if he's going to Stanford, and he definitely looks the part but I think he could stand to get a bit stronger. Would be awesome if he started this year.

I just want guys with upside at this point. Character concerns? ok. Injury concerns? ok. Grab guys who have the chance to make an impact if they pan out.
Skov, Bullough and Sean Parker. Two LB's and and Safety.

Still some good talent on the board.
I'd like to see as get at least one more linebacker, either Skov or Jones. I wouldn't mind taking a chance on McCullers too. A safetly like Bailey or Loston might be worth a shot as well.

Compensatory picks should be 1 minute long. You can't trade them, there's nothing to discuss, move it along people I want to eat lunch!

I wonder what would happen if teams worked out a backdoor deal on a compensatory pick, like, select player X and we will trade you our 4th round pick next year for him. I'm sure its against the rules but who's to stop them?
Certainly possible. I think the risk to do that though would make it disadvantageous. I would assume if found out, the punishment would be loss of draft picks. When you're in the 6th and 7th, I doubt teams have guys they're really that in love with to take the risk.

Not only that, but it's just stupid in general for a team to pick for another team here. Compensatory picks aren't guaranteed and aren'ted even doled out until after the season. Just wouldn't be worth it.

WOW he was a projected 3rd rounder. Great value right there and provides solid depth

These are all junk picks.
Can't believe teams are just gonna bypass Skov. Makes no sense.

And the 10th and Final pick is.......
CB Jabari Price UNC
Well we got 10 new guys. Not sure how many make the team, but with this draft and FA, this Vikings team will look very different than the one we saw end the season in December. I can't wait for training camp!

Pretty surprised with 10 picks they didn't take a receiver. I guess the gameplan for the secondary was to bring in a bunch of quantity and hope one or two turn into quality.
