Bolden will be 33 this fall, has never been fast, has had some injury problems typical of a player with his mileage, and will be seeking something near the $6M/year that the Ravens were paying him. I've always loved what he brought to the game, but at this point in his career I'd take a good young pass-catching TE over him, because that's essentially what he is now - a big body receiving target.

Thirty three or not he plays much younger and I did not see any signs of him slowing down. He catches everything in sight and is as tough as nails. He was probably one of the best receivers that I saw in any of the play-off games He has at least 2 good years left in him.

For the second time ever, you and I agree completely. He will cost alot, because even at 33, he is simply one of the best. Falco looked for him all the time. He helped them win the SB as much as anyone on that team.

The National Football Post says "those who should know speculate" free agent Mike Wallace's new deal will average more than $13 million per season.

This is the highest annual average we've seen for Wallace yet. Most reports have been that he would top out around $11-12 million per year, but Wallace is this year's Mario Williams and a team could go wild if they want him badly enough. FOX Sports' Alex Marvez recently said Wallace is expected to draw "multiple offers," so we very well could have a bidding war on our hands.

I would definately pass on Wallace with those kind of numbers. He reminds me way too much of Bernard Berrian. I am not saying that he is not better than Berrian but certainly not for that price.

Wow. I'll be surprised if he gets that kind of money, although all it takes is one crazy or desperate team.

If he gets $13 million a year to play, I doubt he'll be playing for the Vikes!

Question: During this three day 'legal tampering' period, are teams permitted to re-sign their own players who are about to become unrestricted free agents, or is that also off-limits?

Teams can re-sign their own players during this period. In fact, I read a report this morning that the Dolphins have agreed to terms with Brian Hartline so he won't be hitting the UFA market on Tuesday.

Yes this actually part of the purpose of it. So that players could go out and test their market and see how it compares to what their old team is offering. If their market is much lower than they had hoped, it gives them a chance to resign with their team before they replace them with someone else.

I guess that fits for JA too right? All but the 3-4. Nothing wrong with a little leadership here and there.
