That's what I'm thinking, the Vikings are trying to buy a high stock guy whose price is probably depressed right now due to injury. If he goes down, they have Floyd waiting in the wings. If they can get him at a reasonable price, it's a smart deal especially with such weakness at LB. A solid DL helps the LB's out a lot.

I think a great defensive line covers up weaknesses on the next two levels of defense more than the other way around..so I am all for adding more talent there.

The Cowboys have shown interest in melton too and from what I hear, the Bears are still interested. I don't know what his asking price will be but interest from multiple sources usually helps that.

George Edwards, Eric Sugarman, Zygi Wilf and Mike Priefer all left within minutes of each other. Not sure what that means for Melton tonight
