Come home from surfing to this news? wow.
A message board dedicated to the discussion of Minnesota Viking Football.

@RossTuckerNFL
You "have to" put a safety over Mike Wallace. You "have to" put a safety in box vs. AP. Therein lies the rub.
Where did that come fromVikings28 wrote:I agree with those on twitter who have said hiring Zimmer is the smartest thing Spielman has done. He has made a lot of good player personnel decisions over the years but this team is just so different with Zimmer leading the way. I can't believe teams shied away from him for years because he was "brash" and "too honest".
I love it.808vikingsfan wrote:
I was disgusted by the act, and the reaction of Peterson and anyone who defended him. I was sickened by people wearing his jersey and holding switches at football stadiums.
Tuesday’s news conference stopped the avalanche of Peterson blunders and offered a glimpse of humanity behind the clownish and boorish behaviour — even if the human remains a little too defiant and unrealistic to be thoroughly likable.
Most of us will never again look at Peterson as merely a great football player, but if he has learned and perhaps inadvertently delivered a lesson on responsible parenting, is this the right time to turn the page to football and nothing but football?
And if not now, then when?
What a putz. All he saw was his own projection, and now he's too prideful and unreflective to acknowledge how far off base his perception was.dead_poet wrote:Souhan: News conference stops an avalanche of blunders by Peterson

Me too. Charles Johnson should get a lot of single coverage, hopefully he can exploit it!!!fiestavike wrote: I love it.
Well said. I have no doubt Souhan was one of the people in the room yesterday that Peterson wasn't happy to see.fiestavike wrote:What a putz. All he saw was his own projection, and now he's too prideful and unreflective to acknowledge how far off base his perception was.
@murphPPress Peterson said Dayton's harsh criticism had in part fueled his desire to leave the #Vikings Has state's top elected official back in corner
@murphPPress Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton on Adrian Peterson's return: “I am glad he is back with the #Vikings. I wish him well – and 2,500 yards rushing.”
Leave it to a politician to flip-flop when he thinks nobody is looking.dead_poet wrote:
