I know what you mean, highlights are tough. I watched at least 2 or 3 SMU games this season and Proche really did stand out. I think he'd be a great slot WR for us. This WR class is super deep. As much as I would love to move up to grab Lamb, I think I'd be just as interested in drafting 2 or 3 prospects between rounds 2 and 7 and just see how things shake out in camp (assuming camp happens with all this craziness we're experiencing). It's not like we have much depth at the position.
You've convinced me. He was ridiculously productive. I got this from NFL.COM
Proche helped the Mustangs achieve a 10-win season in 2019, again earning first-team all-conference accolades after starting all 13 games, tying for the national lead with 111 receptions (1,225 yards, 11.0 yards per catch), ranking in the top five with 15 scores.
That's just under 9 receptions per game and over a TD per game.
Yes, SMU had a heck of a QB, Shane Buechele, who transferred from UT. Buechele had been the starter there but injuries gave Sam Ehlinger a chance to start, and his star a chance to shine. Buechele is a better pocket passer than Ehlinger, IMO, and he gave Proche a chance to flourish.

I don't understand. You quote the Brady situation, which has nothing to do with the Brown situation. Also, I know a woman or two who would object to the term "preggors."
And I'll repeat ... if my choice of words came off as commentary against the types of situations where the baby DOES represent the extent of the relationship, then good. AB has five kids by three mothers (that we know of) so please don't hold him up as a Father of the Year candidate just because three of his kids have the same mother.
All that said, I'll try not to use the term in the future. Meanwhile, just say NO to Antonio Brown as a Viking.
Agree to disagree. I don't think you understood me and a message board post probably isn't going to be enough to explain the context to most.
I also want nothing to do with AB. I think something isn't quite right with him.
We can certainly agree on this.

We need a punt returner, and at the very least Proche is a good one of those. If the Vikings drafted him in the 4th or 5th it would be a good value.

Why would Vikings draft Buchelle? Vikings have Mannion and Browning as back ups

Shane Buechele redshirted this past season, so he still has his senior year at SMU, so unless he declared for the draft and I missed it, he's not an option.
Proche should be available in the 4th, maybe even the 5th, and he'd be a great choice, especially if we already chose someone taller and more able to play outside earlier.

I think you answered your own question. Is Buechelle in this draft? Seems like he isn't.

Great link ranking all the draft eligible WRs in 6 categories. You'll be surprised who comes out as best.
https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/new ... -and-more/
I'm getting a good Vibe for Reagor. I wouldn't be upset if he is our pick at 25. Could be a TCU tandem of Gladney and Reagor.
Out of the 6 categories they rated Reagor came out with an average of rank 3.67 per cat. Jeudy came out just behind him with an average of 3.83, Lamb was next best at 4.00 per cat. Ruggs next at 4.67. Now maybe the cats shouldn't be weighted equally, but rating them equally Reagor comes out as the best WR in the draft.

I don't know enough to say, but sorting through what all the "experts" have to say and watching some video I have Lamb first as a potential Hopkins clone.

This is one draft I would love us to grab multiple guys in the 2nd to 5th rounds. I would also be up for sending a 5th to the Cards for Hakeem Butler. Still have my man-crush on him.
I bet the Cards would jump on that as they have added Hopkins and Butler would probably be just a practice squad guy for them. It's an interesting idea. I'm guessing the Vikings would rather make the pick though.
They are going to have to trade him or be ok with losing him. No way he makes it to a practice squad. They have just added so many talented WRs.

I don't see the Hopkins comparison, but he does remind me of Adam Thielen plus. He is even quicker and shiftier. Both are kind of long-torsoed WRs.
Jeudy, in my opinion, has the highest floor and the highest ceiling of any WR in this draft. To be honest, I'm not totally enamored with the top end of this WR class, but I love its depth.

Lambs ability to high point the football, his catch radius, his hands, physicality, speed, etc. is a clone of Hopkins

I'm really getting a Reagor vibe for our draft pick. On a side note, I'm thinking that Terrell could be the CB pick, because he's the tallest and fastest of the candidates and Zim likes his CBs tall.

I’m going out on a limb and say that we will trade up to take CJ Henderson out of Florida. We’ve met with him quite a bit. I’d love a trade up if it was for Lamb, Jeudy, Wirfs or Henderson. Outside of that I’d just stay put. I’d be surprised if we passed on trading up for Henderson or drafting Fulton. I’m not opposed to Terrell but it looks like we are high on both Henderson and Fulton
As for a WR, I’m having trouble seeing past lamb, Jeudy and Jefferson. Maybe even Ruggs. The rest are hit or miss IMO. I think it’s a near guarantee we hit if we draft any of those top 4 I named.
