Of course not. Then it wouldn't work. Just our luck! We'd fail at suicide.
JUST LIKE CHRISTIAN PONDER FAILED AT EVERYTHING.

I hope he miraculously leads the Vikings to Super Bowl-winning glory under new head coach Mike Zimmer! It would be the most hilarious
and the most satisfying outcome of the Ponder story.

True. I would gladly eat crow for my negative comments about Ponder for years, to get a superbowl appearance. Regardless of who is tossing the ball.
However, I don't feel that is even a possibility.

It's Astro from the Jetsons! He spoke in a similar way (
edit: oops. I see majorm already explained that).
Hanna-Barbera recycled a lot of ideas when they were cranking out cheap cartoons for television back in the '60s and '70s.

Ah, old school vs. new school. I get it.
Well, they were only separated by about 6 years but Scooby lasted a lot longer!

It's a possibility, just a very slim one. On the other hand, did anybody think Jeff Hostetler, Brad Johnson or Trent Dilfer would be Super Bowl-winning QBs three years into their NFL careers?

Well, Scooby is cuter.

Can't believe those cartoons are so old. I have seen the Jetsons a few times, but not nearly as much as Scooby. Great show. I'd still watch it if I saw it on. Don't judge me.
I also enjoy the oldies but goodies: Little House On The Prairie and The Waltons. Those are before my time, too. They just don't make shows like that anymore.
Back on topic: I'd rather watch any of these shows than watch PONDER. (Kidding! ...maybe)

If I remember correctly, they all had strong running games too. The Vikes have Peterson and they just hired a defensive-minded head coach...

2 time pro-bowler, 9th round pick, good passer ratings some years, one would have to go into the details but he certainly could do very well.

I liked him. I was disappointed when he went to Washington. I thought the Vikes should have tried to keep him. However, I was glad to see him win a Super Bowl. I just wish it had been with the Vikes.

MINNEAPOLIS (CNN/SI) -- In one of the biggest trades in recent NFL history, the Minnesota Vikings on Monday sent unhappy quarterback Brad Johnson to the Washington Redskins in exchange for three draft picks, including the 11th pick in this year's NFL Draft.
Officially choosing Randall Cunningham as the leader of their high-powered offense, the Vikings sent their one-time starter to the Redskins for first- and third-round draft picks in the April 17 draft and a second-round pick in 2000." Cunningham went on to an All-Pro season, leading the Vikings to a 15-1 regular season record and the most points in NFL history before their upset loss to Atlanta in the NFC championship game."
For sure they did not win a Super Bowl but I really enjoyed watching RC light it up.

I like how we're so used to Rick Spielman already that we totally ignore him when he says that Ponder will be back next season.
Pure Rickspeak...translated: "We tried to find someone who wanted to trade for him but all we heard was crickets...but they all know the porch light's still on, you know."

Remember who they picked at #11? Culpepper.
