Hope he works out. It makes the Cleveland pick last year all the more weird.

They had the best QB IMO fall to them. Now Bill B will look like a genius. Never let QBs pass by. He could have sat and then deal Cousins.

Gotta give Rick props. Got a great pick at a need position and picked up 2 3rds in the process

Well done

If they deal Cousins then they would take a $31 million cap hit which they could not afford

Was the pick the Vikes gave up a 4th or a 5th?

From what I read he has talent to be great if the desire matches it. Sounds like good value. I would have preferred Teven Jenkins.

I do not think they wanted Fields because it is too early to give up on Lock but Broncos will have a good defense though
I liked Lock when he came out. Not every QB is a plug and play guy. I wouldn't have picked Fields. Speilman passed on the guy I wanted and let Bill B grab him. Now they have a bunch of nothing picks. They won't even get a starter this year.

Surtain is a heck of a player. I would take him over Fields. Although Fields is faster for whatever that's worth.

It was a 5th.

The Jets will also receive pick #143 (fifth-round) from the Vikings.

Draft chart means nothing in today's NFL. It's not even used anymore by NFL teams (ask me how I know)
Dude we got Justin Jefferson at 22. Just because we traded down doesn’t mean they can’t get a talented player. Like I said, let’s relax until we see who we get. If Paye falls to them. Or even Darrisaw that’s good value
You can get guys anywhere. But passing up a stud for good value is a bad deal. But you need to look at who you passed up. I wanted Jones and if he's a bum for Bill B then good move. If he's off the charts it's one of the worst draft moves ever. I have a little more faith in Bill B.

Concur. I think this year is a make or break year for Lock however.

I know zero about the CAP if we deal him we are stuck with the CAP? I never realized that one. So the Ravens are stuck with O Browns CAP hit even since he was traded.
