Moss left too soon, we already screwed up by losing sydney rice, now we will lose Harvin....but really, what top line receive would WANT to be on a team without a QB?? These receivers are big money players and they know they can have their whole career go down the drain if they end up on a team with a crappy QB who makes em look like a poor receiver....I can't blame Harvin if he leaves....

Percy Harvin is a diva, whether you like it or not. If you get into a yelling, "heated" exchange with possibly the most calm coach in the NFL, that's impressively telling.

Betcha my new 99 Wide Glide I could throw 80% of those passes to PH and I havent thrown a foortball in over 3 years. And before that I only played intermedial between the dorms i was staying in. Why do you always have to try and make the point about Ponder in every friggin thread?

Heh, exactly. People need to realize that with high talent comes a certain degree of arrogance, and that seems to be more the case with WRs than maybe any other position in professional sports (and ooh boy do Minnesota professional sports teams hate these kinds of athletes). For Percy that arrogance manifests itself as some kind of oppositional anti-authority thing. He may be a great teammate but behind the scenes he could very well be a complete #### to the coaching staff.

This morning on KFAN, Ben Leber shared his thoughts. He said that during practices, Percy could be "explosively individualistic", which is just a nice fancy-talk way of saying that he was an ####. The way he talked about it was telling....he didn't really come off as defending Percy. It came off more as "Hey if the team is having issues with Percy I can understand, because I've seen some ####, man..."

Did you mean that you played intramural or was it intermedial. And I have little doubt that you could put on an NFL uniform, line up behind the center in an actual NFL game and complete 80% of your passes to Percy Harvin.

Comments from someone who was there. Hmmm. And an ex-teammate. But don't forget we need current teammates or coaches saying something. And if they do they need to come out and individually explain what every word they use means in the context they are using it.

Because Percy is OURS and OURS can do no wrong.

Yup, some people want to explain it away as media people crying "smoke!" when there's no fire, but there's clearly some fire here. You'd have to be living under a rock to not realize it. It's always something with Percy, and as more and more people connected with the team are interviewed a clearer picture is being painted. Seems like he's a complex guy who is probably hard to work with and be around. Sound familiar, anyone? Remember back in 2010 when they brought Moss back and some wondered aloud if he would be a bad influence on Percy? Why did those concerns exist in the first place? Because even back then there were questions about his personality.

Someone in the comments section stated that Percy had checked into a substance abuse program for an addiction to pain killers. Obviously, we have to consider the source (some random anonymous poster w/o any substance to support the claim), but this sounds like something that could possibly be true, given his previous problems with migraines.

One other point: I find it a little odd that we have not heard ANYTHING about how his ankle is or what he's doing to treat it.

Moss never once physically attacked a coach on any level that I'm aware of. And while he had issues with coaches I don't recall him having to be separated from any of them.

We finally got rid of the Moss, the Smoot, the Dwight Smiths, even the big head Darren Sharpers. Heck even got around to McKinnie. There's only one glaring drain on morale left. And it's time to get rid of him too!
