That's what I hate about Ponder... He had time, skittish, won't release it, won't run, sacked...

Careful what you wish for... sometimes a sack is the preferable result.

Bercich is saying that Carlson and Wright weren't finishing their routes downfield on that sack play. :(

FG is good!

He's not going to hit on every single pick. And he recently drafted a decent WR named Percy Harvin.

You hate it when he runs too!

The question, as always, is if he had anywhere to go with the ball. He can't just throw it away from within the pocket. It has to go toward an eligible receiver.

Robinson was watching Quick, so time the shove so when the ball gets there the dude is on his way out... Once he leaps he has no ability to resist.

Umm our WRs are never open. They dont know how to get seperation. As documented here and by troy Aikman.

Mothman wrote:It probably depends on where the ball is but at the very least it would be an illegal contact penalty unless the QB was out of the pocket. I think the illegal contact rule specifies that the QB has to be in the pocket.
The rule they're talking about is where previously if you were pushed out by a defender, it was still a TD. Under the new rule, you still need to get two feet down, a defender is able to push you out of bounds for an incompletion. It's not about the penalty side, it's the rule change.
