The Yankees have 3X the payroll.
The Twins have lost all seven games against the Yankees this season.
The central divisions are for fodder for the coast teams.
We all know this.
I hope the Twins can look good and fight the good fight against extreme odds.

I have been very critical of Bill Smith. But the moves he made in the last two months really proved to me that he wasn't a slouch that I thought he was.
Carl Pavano, Orlando Cabrera, John Rauch (IMO, the most important move made for as bad as our bullpen was before he came), and Ron Mahay all proved to be big time contributors.
And, of course, the Old Girl seems to have a little more magic left in her
