He doesnt need, and wont get (our Oline is rotten) perfect condition, but can play well with a little time. And hopefully wont stand like a statue and get sacked.
Why is our offense line rotten? They are rated pretty high by PFF
Only lineman who didn’t have a good rating was the rookie RT.
Kirk has played a few thousands snaps for the Vikings. He has never had perfect conditions on even a single one of those snaps. Perfect conditions don't exist. All QBs play the best they can in the conditions they are presented with.

The IOL is really bad. Check out what PFF thinks of them. Kirk is hit hard every other play.

I think it's obvious he doesn't need perfect conditions to help a team win games because that's happening right now. He does need perfect conditions to keep his stats intact though. When half of his games aren't done by the 4th and he's running up his stats against softer defensive looks and less pressure they look much different.

Still, I'd take the Kirk without top stats but leads the team downfield when it matters most. Same reason I liked Teddy back in the day. Comparing Bridgewater's 10-6 season in 2015 their stats are very close, actually. Of course, Bridgewater's WR corps was Diggs in his rookie season and Mike Wallace starting. Jairus Wright and Patterson behind them. Adam Thielen was on the team but he hadn't broke out yet and was deep in the depth chart.

He doesnt. Would be nice if he was a little bit mobile, but hes a statue. His main problem is the Oline. He never gets that .5 or full second of time any team that playing the Vikings gets. Same old problem the Vikings have had since Cousins got here. :wallbang: :wallbang: :wallbang:

Our Oline has been a blatant problem for years, It is now so bad that we have NO running game either. Having norun threat makes Cousins job near impossible......I never thought I would be defending him, I never wanted him, but this year, he is doing his job well. He is NOT one of the Vikes problems.......
