My guess is a high draft pick and a journeyman stop gap. It’s pretty rare for a WR to hit the ground running especially drafting in the back half of the rounds but the other options are pretty bad.

Beebe is good for about a game and a half. Then there’s preseason all star Olabisi Johnson. We could also bring back Treadwell for a third time. Or run Thielen and 3 TEs.
It really sucks so wide receiver, offensive line, and cornerback is a big need in the draft now

Won’t say we fleeced Buffalo a la Arizona style, but the Bills are boldly in win-now mode for making this move.

I hate that he is our QB and we have so much $$$ in a average at best QB.
Meh, Rick made the most out of a bad situation he created.
Lol because he cleared cap by extending cousins and gaining Harris?? Diggs had the best years of his CAREER with cousins. Good luck replicating that in buffalo. And if cousins was so bad wouldn’t Thielen want to be traded? Greenway even said it, diggs wants it to be all about him and he wants to be “the guy”. He wasn’t getting that in Minnesota because of Thielen.

Vikings fleeced the Bills, Biils gave up alot but they did upgrade at wide receiver but most of Bills fans said they got fleeced

On a positive note, we should be in a good spot to draft a QB high in the draft next season.

Diggs had an elite year in 2019. Not good, not great, elite. He played in an offense that didn't throw the ball a lot, but on a per pass basis, only Michael Thomas caught more yards per pass attempt than Diggs did.

He was the passing offense last year and without him I have no idea how we are going to move the ball through the air. Hopefully they extend Cook now, because if he holds out, this could really turn into a disaster.
It’s day 1 of free agency. And we have a guy named Adam Thielen who has outplayed diggs. And this class is loaded at the position. What do you think we’re going to do? Go into the season with Thielen and Bisi? You’re acting like we have michael Jenkins and Jerome Simpson at WR with ponder throwing them the ball. Kirk cousins moved the ball with josh doctson and Jamison crowder at WR.

What’s funny too is cousins beat the saints on the road in the playoffs where diggs had 2 catches for 19 yards.

And one more thing, since 2016, we’re 6-1 when diggs doesn’t play. Go get players that wanna be here. No selfish divas that are all about themselves

The cap could have cleared up any number of ways, there was no benefit from doing it with a Cousins extension. In fact the extension hurts our ability to sign players this season.

This offense is going to positively suck this year. It isn't going to get better trading away one of the best players on offense, it is going to get worse. That 22nd pick looks great until it becomes a rookie who needs time to develop if he even develops at all. The team is going to lose double digits, Rick is going to canned and so is Zimmer.

And people are happy about this trade. Wow.

Quoted for prosperity.

FYI, that 2017 season Cousins threw to Doctson and Crowder, it was by far his worst of his career, and the offense went from 6th in scoring to 18th. Is that something we should be excited about?

I am not happy at all, remember when Vikings traded Moss and Vikings replaced Moss with Williamson who is a bust? I am afraid it will be like that all over again

Well of course you blame cousins. That’s no surprise. But I also think you’re overreacting. Again it’s day 1 of free agency. You’re saying our offense won’t be able to move the ball when we have no idea what free agency will look like or the draft will look like. With 13 picks no less. We have a QB that can throw the hell out of the ball, a top RB and solid #2 RB, a top WR, a good TE duo and all of free agency and a draft left. I find it funny that somehow you think we can’t move the ball with all that talent still and more to come. Name me teams out there that had that type of talent at those positions and couldn’t move the ball? I’m guessing you can’t name one and again, we still have the rest of free agency and the draft. And again, we’re 6-1 since 2016 without diggs. I would say you’re definitely overreacting

Randy moss and diggs are nowhere near comparable and you’re going off of assumption that we draft a bust

And his RB was who? And Sean Mcvay went where? Check and let me know. No less Adam Thielen is 100x better than either of those WRs and has done just fine with diggs absent

The draft is a crapshoot so yeah, Vikings could draft a bust
