Not a lot of great outcomes so far with Seattle and New Orleans winning. Man, kicking around the league is so bad this year. Slye’s miss was worse than Walsh, pretty much a college football PAT miss.

Thanks Slye. Great job today. Left the Saints in a great position. Good ole kickers.

A tie is better than a win, so it would help.

Looks like it doesn't matter who we root for. Niners are clubbing the Pukers.

Go ahead. I dare you.
Underestimate this man.

If this outcome holds, we’ll have to return the favor to the 9’ers and smash Seattle next week.J. Kapp 11 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 24, 2019 9:52 pm Looks like it doesn't matter who we root for. Niners are clubbing the Pukers.

Wow are the 49'ers impressive! I don't think I have ever seen any defense make Aaron Rodgers look this bad before.
This game is not even close. I think we are seeing the next great dynasty.

Man I was thinking the Packers would lose but not get demolished. We're gonna have our hands full if we make to the playoffs.
Re: Who to Root for - Packers or 49ers?
9ers and Seattle both have defenses on a totally different level. Truly amazing to be that dominant especially with the rules these days heavily favoring the offense.
Re: Who to Root for - Packers or 49ers?
You hit that on the head. Rodgers looked like a guy that needs to be replaced. Basically a bum. We all know how hard that is to do. That whole Packer team will be scratching their heads. I hope they crumble. But that 49ers D is very impressive. IMO they do what great defenses do. Get after the QB. All QBs wilt under heat. We need to beat this Hawk team and get even with the Pack. It will come down to our D. Put big time heat on Wilson and he to will look like a bum. Then the game is ours. If we let him stand there we will be in a dog fight on the road. Then anything will lose it for us. Bad call muffed whatever. Good to see the Packers get destroyed. I'm sure Rodgers will tell this new HC to GFY soon. Even that D looked like crap. Good teams don't get destroyed like that.
Re: Who to Root for - Packers or 49ers?
The Vikings now control their own destiny. If we win out, we win the division... and have a good shot at a 1 or 2 seed. I realize that's a tall order, but that's the facts.
If we lose or tie one, it changes everything of course.

Re: Who to Root for - Packers or 49ers?
It makes me sick we let GB win the 1st game. They really don't scare me for the next game. Bulaga injured his knee so he may not healthy. Our D should be able to pressure Erin the way the Niners did. The Niners, imo are legit and a very good team.
Still pisses me off the Saints ended up getting the W thanks to a kicker missing the kicks he did .
Gotta be honest the Seahawks scare me. That darn Wilson throws an incredible deep ball. And our secondary hasn't exactly been so great in that area lately. I hope we are rested up and healthier coming off the bye. I'm concerned, but am holding on to hope that we can dig deep anger get it done. I really believe that if we play to our potential, stay healthy and clean up the stupid penalties that seem to plague us we really do have the talent and the ability to make a run. A big win against the Hawks would be huge and hopefully get us some momentum going. I hate that other than us, the stupid Pukers have such an easy schedule from here on out. But, hopefully they start falling apart and get a few #### whippings.
Would love to see us get on a roll like the Giants did that year, end up against the Pats in the SB and end up beating the Dynasty. Oh and do it by beating the Saints in the Championship game. That would be the greatest scenario for me .
Ya never know. I am on the mend from surgery this past Thursday so the pain meds are helping me ramble on here with my dream. But I'm sure that about everyone here would agree that taking the North title from the Pukers, beat the stupid Saints in the Championship game and then finally win the Lombardi trophy against Tom terrific and Bill Belicheat would make for a great way to end our SB drought.

Re: Who to Root for - Packers or 49ers?
I think the Vikings are as good as the Pack, but due to some bad calls (cook INT, Detroit debacle, etc) the Pack have the clear inside track to win the division . Look at their remaining schedule... 3 division games and then the redskins and giants. Realistically they will wind up 12-4. Vikes would have to win out to win the division which is nearly impossible.
The saints have a pretty tough schedule to finish out. They might end up 12-4 as well. Not sure who has the tie breaker between the Pack and the Saints but it’s an important question, because it’s likely we will travel to the #3 seed in the first WC weekend, assuming the Rams lose a few more and we can hold onto the 6 seed

The Rams are a deeply flawed team. Their run game is struggling and it turns out that a QB who requires the longest time to throw in the NFL to be successful isn't a QB who can sustain success, even with the best WR corp in the NFL. Their defense is much improved over last season, but good defenses just shut them down. I think they go 9-7 at best with how brutal their schedule is.VikingPaul73 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 25, 2019 9:37 am I think the Vikings are as good as the Pack, but due to some bad calls (cook INT, Detroit debacle, etc) the Pack have the clear inside track to win the division . 10 wins for sure guarantees the 6th seed imo, but with the right tie breakers 9 wins will get a team in as well. The Vikings will be the 6th seed, go to GB in sub zero temps and win or lose on a FG attempt in a low scoring defensive battle.
That assumes the Vikings lose to Seattle, which I am 90% certain they will.

I agree I think the vikes go 10-6 with losses to Seattle , LAC, and split with bears/pack.
And I agree that should get them the 6 seed
How great would it be to see a repeat of 2005(?) when they went into Lambeau and crushed the pack. The Moss Moon was fantastic although Joe Buck’s total meltdown was difficult to listen to!
