Sometimes it feels like a good thing to NOT be in the local viewing area... because it forces me to do precisely that: find something more edifying to do with my Sundays. We need to draft OL and possibly hire a new OL coach. That was a brutal display of incompetence.
I'd love to have Mike Tice back as the OL coach.

Amen! Mike Tice was an awesome OL coach! He had awesome, big linemen to work with but still.

OL line and Norvs calls had me angry all game. Wallace with no catches???? TB holding the ball on some plays :steamed: DBs did not look good most of the game.

He's made a pile of trash into a solid group in Oakland. Everywhere he goes they develop a good offensive line.

I don't understand why it takes us until the 2nd half to start throwing downfield.

Probably because such a high percentage of drop backs result in sacks and negative plays. The pass protection is just dreadful.

Not too much good out of this one. It is about time that Rudy was truly involved in the offense. Teddy played well but left a couple out there. AP once again kills an important drive. Not that any one is more important than the other but when ya need one and ya got to have it that is why you need it kind of drive. There are not a lot of plays being made by the LB's in the running game for my liking. Joseph making tackles 9 yards downfield is not the way it is meant to be done.
Locke must go and Walsh better straighten himself up or be gone as well. It's time to work a little harder or hit the damn road.
And we need to go deep more often. Just for the heck of it.
I hope that CP gets ripped in front of his teammates for his dumb penalty.
After all that and a few other things it was a good game.

Good:

Danielle Hunter looked very good.
That's about it.

Bad:
The defense was not recognizable today. Where was the blitzing? Where was the pressure? Where was the tackling?
The offense was a joke.
Teddy needs to throw the damn ball. He looked much better in the second half, PLAY LIKE THAT ALL THE TIME TEDDY.
Adrian Peterson... The fumblitis is back, and it is making him a liability more than an asset right now.
The refs called so many ticky tack fouls agains teh Vikings, but nothiing against GB. That "head butt" against Patterson was asinine, as was the roughing call on Joseph.

Ugly:
The whole game.
The Packers uniforms
Packer fans in general (no offense, Jordy).

Next week at ATL will be a big game with a lot of Wild Card implications.
You forgot to say what was the UGLIEST!
THE GOD DAMN O LINE WAS PATHETIC!

Amen to that. I almost wrote that very same thing in my post! He's done nice work. And NO ONE looks cooler with a pencil behind his ear than Mike Tice.

That pass interference call against newman really pissed me off. Not that it was called, because it certainly was interference. But, the fact that we NEVER run a play like that on 3rd and down, we never throw it deep.... the chance at getting a long PI call is pretty high.

I started a thread a while back about conservative playcalling on 3rd and long. You have NOTHING to lose... THROW THE BALL DEEP!!! It will either be caught (yay), incomplete (so now it's 4th down and you were going to punt anyway), or intercepted (AND YOU WERE GOING TO PUNT ANYWAY). The good teams do that... Green Bay, New England, etc. It is a cowardly scheme that just pisses me off. We teach our kids to play aggressively all their lives, but calling that crap just tells them to give up, IMO.
