It would be pretty smart and backs up any potential bust with Teddy. Do like the Redskins did a few years ago. If Teddy pans out then they have leverage for a trde to a team needing a QB.

Vereen would be a nice pickup. I think there's a good chance he's around.PacificNorseWest wrote:Yeah. Just a great football player period.
Brock Vereen still out there too.
Edit: Well so much for that! To the Bears...

I did it in the simulator and would probably do it again. Maybe not in the 5th, I would probably see who is around in the 6th since in addition to those three you still have guys like Savage, Fales, and Thomas still on the board.fiestavike wrote:what are the chances the Vikings pull the trigger on a Murray/Mettenberger/McCarron in round 5?

Damn Bears. I knew they were gonna snipe either Skov or Vereen the second I saw that they traded up. Crap.

I would get Brett Smith or Mettenberger before the Seahawks or 49ers do.
Brett Smith is this years super duper, under the radar, low flying, slicker than dogsnot sleeper.

He's still free falling so we'll see what the Vikes think when our pick comes up.Jeffbleedspurple wrote:I think at this point Yankey would be a steal
