Patterson. Only complete toolbags making millions of dollars complain about where they're playing football.

PH, if both were healthy. Mainly because PH is a better receiver.
But a year from now, I doubt anyone says Harvin. I think the Vikings use CP more, from day 1, as a WR. And I think he is going to be a great one, given a chance. Much better then Harvin was.

Harvin was diagnosed with "sleep apnea" (spell check?) in early 2011 and played all 16 games that year. He hasn't had a migraine since. Stop using that "headache" joke, plz
I wasn't joking about his headaches, was just stating an elephant in the room issue. And he isn't our star player, he is Seattles, pardon the pun, headache. Our star WR is now CP84!

Half as polished? What has Harvin ever done at WR that was special? Catch 2 yard passes turn em into 7 yards? Sheer volume is going to give you 900-100 and a few TDs, they handed it off to him for some TDs too. Not spilled milk, but I don't see this dynamic special player when I see Harvin. Harvin has one thing on CP84, 4 years experience, I see a better player in CP84, and next year will show that.

I agree that as a WR, Harvin wasn't all that polished a player, and I'll take CP every time due to the many reasons posted here. But there is simply no denying that when he's healthy, Harvin is a dynamic player, similar to CP. His blend of speed, elusiveness and power was incredible, and did a lot more than just turn 2 yard passes into 7 yard games. He had the same break away ability CP has with the ball in his hands.

He could still go diva on us, still plenty of time. Moss in his rookie year, talked about being most proud of his blocking while he was catching 17 TDs. He seemed so humble in the beginning.

I'm not saying Harvin is junk, but last year before he was injured there was MVP talk with him. I found that a little far out there. I heard things like "the most dynamic player in the game". I honestly think I saw about the same number of big plays this year from CP84 that they got from Harvin in 4 years. And for my money, if everything is equal, I want the taller guy who can stratch the field. That reverse handoff in the Lions game that he took to the house, how many players can stop in the backfield, reverse field, split defenders, and house it? That was ridiculous!

Patterson by a long shot. If our coaching staff had actually played him, his stats would have been comparable to Harvin's. He is also the best returner in the game and the only returning I've ever seen better than Harvin. He still has a ton of potential. There were a few catches where Cassel or Ponder just lobbed it up and he went up and got it, which is something I don't think Harvin can do.

My Guess is Harvin might be finished, surely will be gone from the nfl after next year. He doesn't want to play football. He wants to be paid to whine

I'll take that bet in a heartbeat. Surely will be gone from the NFL after next year? Unlikely.

Very hard to say right now. CP has all the upside in the world but there is no guarantee he’ll achieve it. CP also has better size that PH. IMO, assuming he can develop further, that gives him an edge in that it “should” translate to more durability which is Harvin’s big issue. However, we’ve only seen CP play one season. There is no guarantee he won’t have durability challenges as well. Just too soon to tell IMO.

Patterson is in a different league than Harvin.

Tough choice. I am still a Harvin fan. However, Cordarrelle has definitely assuaged the loss of Harvin. Cordarrelle has the potential to be the next great WR. Harvin also still has the chance to be great (one could argue he has shown he is 'great). Regardless, Cordarrelle is here and Percy is gone. I was a big fan of Cordarrelle when we drafted him. I am glad he is on this team.

Harvin when healthy(

) is a bit better right now. CP will be much better in coming years imo..imagine CP with a competent HC and QB?
