AD isn't exactly playing lights out. He is also making more money in one day then I make in 5 years. I don't think hes putting forth a good effort, and he may be hurt.

He son also just got murdered recently. So maybe psychology could be playing a part towards AP performance.

I miss Spergeon Wynn and Les Steckel... (Still can't bring myself to miss LF's 'mentor')

Tice did a lot more with a lot less (in personnel). But, of course, Wilf fired him immediately after he
beat the Bears.

O-line hasn't been as good since he left.

Horribly underrated as a hc. I would love to have him back in some capacity.

Tice's main problem as HC was his incapacity to learn on the job. While I also liked him as a coach and thought he had a good base of approach and knowledge to work from, he simply never adjusted to anything. In game, off season, during the season, etc. All IMO of course, but that was his downfall.
Frazier's downfall seems to be threefold. A complete and total flatline personality (don't think you can lead that way in today's NFL), way too much loyalty to his inferior coaching staff, and what seems like a deathly aversion to creativity. At least Tice had passion, and I'd take that over Frazier's approach any day.
Everyone seems to like Frazier, that's not in question. He is simply not NFL HC material. Absolutely no way in creation he lands an NFL HC job after his inevitable jettison from the Vikes.

If what you're saying is that the team doesn't appear to be the most talent laden in the league, I agree with you. Frazier isn't responsible for collecting the talent, Spielman is. And while I don't see him as a horrid GM, he doesn't appear to be a championship-caliber GM either, now does he?

No, he doesn't and that's enough. It looks like they need to clean house.

What depresses me the most is how f-ed up from top to bottom the team is. The entire defensd other than rhodes, smith, and floyd needs to go. Fpr some dumb reason tat i cant understand, the olinemen keep getting high scores by some magazines and whatnot, yet freeman was on hid #### every single play last night. And AD has no holes whatsoever to run through.
Idk. Its really really depressing.

A lot of that has to do with teams going 8-9 in the box. Hard to win those battles when you don't have equal numbers. A lot of that is on the OC to recognize and QB to identify and
consistently make them pay for their aggressiveness. To this point no Vikings QB has been able to, so you're going to get a mad dash at the RB/QB with a bunch of guys until that plan backfires.

I see myriad problems with this team. This one, I don't see so much. He was dragging guys last night and more than once was just a half step from breaking it. The Giants were able to focus on stopping him all game. Their run defense is actually quite good.
And it doesn't help that just when he seems to be hitting his groove, he gets taken out on third down.

AD is hurt. They mentioned more than once last night that he's been playing with a hamstring injury for weeks.

Yeah never noticed it until that pass when he slowed up and clearly had something going on..and then ran out of bounds. Not only that but look at the defenses. They're putting 9 in the box at times. Blitzing corners and safeties regularly. AD isn't the problem here, it's the quarterback...and the offensive coordinator...I'd include the offensive line. But no offensive line could have success the way Musgrave is calling games and defenses are playing.
