Spectacular train wreck, and Ponder meltdown this week, unfortunately. Webb will most likely finish out this game, and the qb controversy will finally start.

This season was all about zero pressure. That's what you give yourself when you take a team that you've been trying to prop up with geezers and retreads in the hopes of getting to the Super Bowl, and you tear it down to its only remaining players with any talent.
Where the pressure started was in defeating the 49ers and the Lions (or more accurately, the 49ers and Lions sucking badly enough to lose to the Vikings). If the Vikings were 3-6 right now, I think everyone would feel like they're in much more familiar territory. If they now go on to finish 5-11 or 6-10 there will be no end to the hand wringing and finger pointing, even though that's what most people predicted from the start.

Hard to tell, Hmmm with Ponder playing really poor lately, plus harvin injured it's really hard to guess. Could go either way. We do still have the rams later on so it's not our last chance to win. Highly doubt we get a win in either of the Bears games, but if Ponder can get his head right it's possible to win one of the packer games

I say we lose this one close. I say that because harvin is doubtful and ponder has been doing horrid the past few games.

That will be the one remotely hopeful game after this one, but it's at St. Louis and the Rams haven't been horrible at home. It's also week 15, and if the Vikings lose six in a row going into that game, they'll be completely deflated and at each other's throats. They won't be looking for one final win so much as just wanting to end the season as quickly as possible.

For the love of God don't put Webb in.
38-10 Lions if no Webb,
28-24 Lions if Webb comes in.
Looking forward to the Allen/Cherilus brawl.

Ponder plays another lousy game. AD tries to carry the team but cannot do it by himself.

You know, logic doesn't dictate it, but logic didn't dictate beating the Niners either. I'm looking at a big game by AD, and a surprisingly solid game by Ponder to confuse everyone again.
Vikings: 24
Lions: 20
