LOL! You're welcome. I had forgotten that it was a preseason game but I remembered them playing in Sweden so I just did a search for Minnesota Vikings Sweden and found info about the game.Knoxx wrote:Thanks Jim I was thinking of the Bear game because it was a rare event in which we played a division rival in preseason but couldn't find it here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Bowl so I just thought it was my senility coming through
And the fans have shown their thanks for getting that new stadium and a winning-record team by what? Three consecutive non-sellouts?MNinIA wrote:Well Zygi cried and never denied anything about moving the franchise to get a new stadium. Then when he gets it, he takes the team for what it looks like multiple HOME games to London. That a way to show your thanks.
Well at least the ownership got what they wanted! What will you do when you don't sell out the high ticket or high revenue stadium? Take all the home games to London?
As a season ticket holder already, I wanted additional tickets for a game, but couldn't get them because I did not want to buy tickets to two games. You would think they would sell tickets to anyone who wants them. instead they are going to London.S197 wrote: And the fans have shown their thanks for getting that new stadium and a winning-record team by what? The Vikings will have a bye the week after they play in London next season, according to owner Mark Wilf.

Despite speculation Vikings might go back to London again after next season, Mark Wilf said this is a one-year commitment at this point.
Got you trumped there. My younger brother is a stupid Pit fan, so I'm inTheIrishVikingsFan wrote:I was hoping it would be a team that one of my friends likes!
But I can live with Pitt
I can't wait to finally get to see the Vikings play
