LOL! You're welcome. I had forgotten that it was a preseason game but I remembered them playing in Sweden so I just did a search for Minnesota Vikings Sweden and found info about the game. :)

So that's two games in London next year? They already announced 49ers/Jags for October.

Well at least the ownership got what they wanted! What will you do when you don't sell out the high ticket or high revenue stadium? Take all the home games to London?
And the fans have shown their thanks for getting that new stadium and a winning-record team by what? Three consecutive non-sellouts?

As a season ticket holder already, I wanted additional tickets for a game, but couldn't get them because I did not want to buy tickets to two games. You would think they would sell tickets to anyone who wants them. instead they are going to London.

Hope you have bought tickets to game this year"

I don't see it going beyond the curiosity stage over there, anyway. Rugby league and union are the dominant field sports over there, sans soccer, of course.

Whatever you do, DON'T read the comments under the article on Startribune.com. OMG, I thought this board was bad sometimes...

Attention: Pitt <> Pittsburgh Steelers

I graduated from Pitt, which is the University of Pittsburgh. The Steelers are not from Pitt.

Along the lines of scheduling, does anyone know why the Vikes were scheduled three road games in a row against the Redskins?

The only time I've seen 2 non divisional teams/games scheduled was to make up for maybe two home games. But 3 times? What gives

Another English Vikings fan delighted by the news. That will be some weekend. I hope some Viking fans get the chance to come over too. It would be great to meet some of the fans.
