Y'all remember the game against Kansas City a few years ago when they stuck Randy Moss back there to return a punt?

I remember thinking, "What the hell are these idiots doing? You don't put your all-world receiver out there to risk his neck!"

Of course, he took the only punt he fielded to the house! Shows you what I know.

From what I've seen of Sherels, he has some speed and some elusiveness. I don't know if that equates to him deserving the spot, but I suppose we'll find out soon enough whether that's the case. If he bombs, it's an easy (inexpensive) cut.

Go ahead. I dare you.
Underestimate this man.

LOL! I wish i could forget.
I wouldn't mind knowing that either although I have no idea where to find that sort of information or if it even exists. Maybe someone like Dead Poet might know of a reference.

I'm not sure where to find that info either. Maybe a site like pro Football Focus would have it? Stats, Inc. probably does but that info would come at a price.

I don't really want to go down the road of sensitizing Cook's stats...[/quote]

Oh, I don't either. I was just trying to provide some sort of comparison/context for them. Honestly, I looked up Revis' numbers because I wanted to get that perspective myself. Once I had them, i figured why not share.
I think all I'm really saying is even with a guy like Cook, we don't really know what we have yet. I hope he pans out, the last thing we need is another 2nd round bust, but to date, his body of work leaves much to be desired.
Agreed. The biggest problem with it is that it's too small, thanks to the bonehead getting himself in trouble last season and missing 10 games. The Vikes definitely don't know what they have in Cook yet. I just hope it turns out that they have a quality starter because if not, the rebuilding project gets even bigger. :(

This is the best I could find:
Cook ended up with a +2.4 coverage grade on the year before getting himself into major legal troubles.
The full (lengthy) article is here. I wish they had broken down more than just the Detroit game but it paints a positive picture.
