Run into some old friends from another group or board? Want to do a little schmoozing, talk over old times? Or just some off topic stuff, then this is the place.

I almost exclusively listen to my own mixes, which I spend some amount of time on. I have 3 categories: themed mix, all hip-hop, and single artist. Kanye is an artist that I assume is like Cheap Trick for Minniman in that he has lots of good songs but some inconsistency in each album. There isn't an album that's "Dark Side" great but he's one of my favorites so l listed him, but I prefer him mixed.
I hardly listen to just single songs (mixes), I do own quite a few greatest hits but I usually listen to whole albums and treat them as a whole work. "Illmatic" for instance doesn't have too many amazing singles but put together it is by far the best rap album of all time. Same with Dark Side of the Moon, you must listen to the entire thing as one work to get it (but you already knew that as it is on your list.)
I don't know how I left Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness off my list.

Dan, have you heard Time and Tide by Split Enz? It's a great album. IIRC, know you're a fan of Tim Finn so I thought you might be familiar with it.
Sadly, perhaps, the only Split Enz album that I have is their Greatest Hits.
I forgot to mention one other album:
Hannah Spiro, "Last Lights on in Town." It was nominated for a WAMI award last year (that's our grammy awards in D.C.) and it was my daughter's debut CD.
its much harder to rank albums that are new. i just dont know if i will love them in 10 years. i tried to stick to ones that i have loved for a long time. in no particular order. if i added a stones album it would be beggars banquet, but it doesn't make my list. i also love revolver, but i can't add it.
