The irony is that Garnett will now get to play with Ray Allen - a duo that could have been great for years in Minnesota if it wasn't for McHale and his draft day trades.

Don't remind me; I had totally forgotten about that.

At the time it sounded good though as they got a future first rounder to virtually move down one spot in the draft. I can't blame him for that one. Other moves yes, but I'd have done the same here. Now if Starbury didn't demand a trade to move back home, it would have likely worked out anyways.

Did I just stick up for McHale? Shoot me now.

This is actually a good trade for both teams

you guys got two first round picks If you guy draft well
you can have a great core team in three years.

The Timberwolves will never go anywhere. We will always be stuck in netural. I hope Brewer can help us some. Poor kid, really wanted to play with Garnet.

Well the Twolves pick we got back should be a lock top 10 pick, so that one should get us something, if we don't trade away the rookie of the year for some cash and the guy taken after him....

The Celtics pick will probably be bottom 5, and fairly worthless.

But then it doesnt really matter either way with this coach and GM.
