Don't get me wrong, I want a strong defensive line and I think we have a pretty decent one right now. But look at the jets and Rams. They have the best 2 defensive lines in football but their secondary is so pitiful that they can't stop anybody (last year). Defending the pass is a much bigger priority IMO than defending the run. Granted you obviously have to do both but with the QBs in our division, we needed a top flight CB much more than a top flight DT. Joseph wasn't awful last year and it was only his first year in this scheme. There is no way you could rely on Newman and Robinson to hold the fort on the outside. You can rely on Joseph a lot more
I would not trade Floyd for him and I have a lot of hope that Waynes and Rhodes will be bookend, stud corners, for years to come :thumbsup:

Yeah I get your point ... lucklily this was a deep draft and hopefully guys we got in late rounds will fix some problems
