McDuffie I guess.

It's possible nobody they thought was worth it was there at 12 and rather than force it they took what they could get. They've got what amounts to 2 low first rounders now and got an extra pick.

Anyway, we didn't want a traditional GM that is necessarily reading from the same point system chart that is used by every organization covering the draft.
Maybe. Guess it will depend on who drops to us. I would've loved to be a fly on Spielman's wall when that trade went down!
Spielman was probably hanging out in Detroit with his brother, helping him fleece Kwesi.

Still in shock they didn't get 97, Nobody in the room could bring that up? Our third round SUCKED last year, so yeah new people, but it's off to a crappy start.

Kwesi is a 1st time GM. He got fleeced, just hope he learns going forward
Im hoping he learns how to get fired, the sooner the better. Dont need this crap next or, or ever t0 salvage the rest of this draft.

So we get a non-traditional GM that trades back to acquire more later picks. Sounds familiar. Hopefully he can move that 32nd pick for the whole "first round QB" value we've been hearing about. I'd rather have either of the two guys drafted after the pick we traded. But maybe the front office realized we aren't as close to a super bowl competitor as the owners think we are.
Still feels like the "value" picks we traded back for....for the last decade.

I was thinking that too. Imagine if we ended up with McDuffie and Willis with those pics. I know it's not likely, but in my mind that would salvage the trade.

I'm trying to regroup and move on. . .but I just can't. This trade just baffles me.

Don’t care, everything I’ve seen tonight has lead me to believe nothing has changed about this franchise, there is a reason Vegas put are odds to go about .500 again, I’d take that bet.

I bet the Pats get a better return for moving down 8 spots.

This is way worse than anything Spielman ever did.
Oooooh, definitely not. I remember Slick Rick being hired.
Don't make me rewind to all of the stupid things he did along the way that should have resulted in him being fired long ago.

Maybe trade 32 for someone to draft Malik Willis. Hopefully accumulate a 1next year plus.... a 2 this year.
