I know what you are saying guys about Brown and someone will sign him and y not us? Can u imagine him and Thielen going vertical and our new draft pick or our TEs coming across wide open...it reminds me of the rookie the 49ers had and he would be open on slants all day. Just getting a rookie WR is not necessarily going to make our WR Corp better...the only who ever did was Moss and there is no Moss in this draft or in the future drafts

I argued that before someone (not you) reminded me off his assault charges which I had forgotten about. Then I admitted my argument was wrong. I can't imagine how miserable a person must be to put down another poster after that person admitted being wrong. Super low, dude. What could possibly go wrong signing Antonio Brown?
Even though we're hard against the cap, I'm sure we could find a way to make Antonio Brown the highest paid receiver in football, which he obviously wants (and certainly deserves) since he fired Drew Rosenhaus for failing to land him such a deal second time after he had already landed him such a deal. I mean, Rosenhaus ... what's he ever done?
Other than that, the off-field issues are so minor and picky as to be slightly stupid. I mean, is throwing furniture and almost killing a toddler, getting arrested for reckless driving, assaulting one of his baby mamas, stiffing a chef for $38,000, taking services from a personal trainer and not paying him, and sexually assaulting a woman three times really all THAT bad? Who among us can say we haven't done as much -- or worse?
Plus, he's a consummate teammate who never complains about how many targets he's getting.
Let's go get this man.

What we need is that receiver that will go through the middle of the field or quick slants to loosen the defense. If we do draft a WR in the first he will probably be vertical threat so maybe Irv Smith can be that guy and who knows maybe Sharp from FA will be a stud but who knows.

I wouldn't be surprised if AB has played his last snap in the NFL. It would take a team that would be willing to sign him this season in hopes he can play next year, and the PR hits that will inevitably occur while AB waits for his suspension to end just aren't worth it.

And it underscores how flat the class is and how likely it is that solid prospects can be found in the later rounds. No need to reach in the early rounds.
