Wildcard Weekend Predictions: Vikings vs Seahawks

I think the assumption of almost everyone for this upcoming game is that Bridgewater will more resemble the QB we saw last weekend against Green Bay and the QB we've seen the majority of the year.

If they get more out of him, I think the Seahawks are in for a rude awakening quite frankly. If the Vikings are at full strength on defense, and the Seahawks can't run the ball, it could be a really long day for them.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding you, but TB had his worst performance of the year last weekend against GB, so I don't think we want to see that again.

What I find interesting is that all of the national pundits assume that the Seattle team that is showing up tomorrow is the one who play in their 10 victories. If the team that played in their 6 losses shows up, it would be a completely different experience.

I don't think it is as cut and dried as you make it out to be. You make it sound like in the 10 wins they blew everyone out and in their 6 losses they played really bad. They never really played a 'bad' game as they had the lead in the 4th quarter of 5 of their 6 losses (I believe) and the one they didn't have the lead they only lost by 6 points. I don't think they have been as inconsistent as you think.

The Seahawks wins of late consisted of lame duck teams and horrendous defenses. Everyone is out here giving Tom Cable the Seahawks COY award because of the job he did with this once porous O-line, yet all they did was swap the center during this 'great' run. The one time they face a fully intact pass rush that is tops in the league, they get DEMOLISHED to the tune of 8 sacks...Was it Herm Edwards who said, "you are what your record says you are." Seattle will be tough, but they aren't these all of a sudden world beaters people think they are. They are definitely exploitable and assuredly beatable. You will all see after tomorrow. Goodnight.

I guess what I was trying to say is that most national pundits expected Bridgewater to suck and Wilson to dominate, which wasn't the case. Neither QB was a huge factor apart from the miracle play Wilson managed on the premature snap. Honestly, Wilson probably played worse.

That's definitely not what we wanted to see and not what we saw. I thought Bridgewater played a solid game overall.

But you said you expected him to be better and play more like he did against GB and I was just pointing out that he wasn't very good against GB, which makes the comparision a bit confusing - but you have cleared up the confusion.
