Goal Line Blitz Admins wrote:We have added 1024 new teams to the game (doubled the leagues). There are now 31 USA leagues, and we've added some more leagues to Canada, Western Europe, and Eastern Europe as well. If you can manage through the lag of everyone hitting F5 continuously, there are still a bunch of teams left (at the moment of typing this).
If they disappear fast, rest easy folks: We already have some more servers on the way to handle yet another expansion of leagues, possibly even before season 2 starts, in case this batch sells out super quick.
Thanks for your understanding and patience with this beta game. We are working hard to improve the game every day.

I'm a starter on my current team (terrible team), but I would like to be with a bunch of Vikings Fans

Could still use some players if anyone's still interested. Needed:
#2 HB in our 1-2 punch
#2 QB
I'd also appreciate backups everywhere (that would still see a lot of action). In our pre-season rankings we are listed as #3 (out of 16). Our biggest weakness is lack of human depth. Would love to have more Vikings fans on the team. Reply here or PM me if you're interested in this annoyingly addictive game.
Kickoff tomorrow! (Saturday)

The New York Doom are looking for players to fill backup rolls. Quite a few people from this board on the team. Your player will definitely contribute in games. If youre unsure about signing up, it doesn't cost anything to make an account and you get 400 free flex points (the currency) which is plenty to make a good backup for the Doom.
Let me know if you want to get on the team and what positions we need

He's been burning a fairly interesting path thru the forums.
(1) He registered with the name "The Strategy Expert" and uses a Captain Picard avatar. That and constant behavior as a know-it-all has earned him a spot as one of the most mocked owners on the forum.
(2)He proclaimed that he had a Golden Strategy that would guarantee sauces and that he would share this secret for 1,000,000 (in game) dollars.
(3)He started selling (eventually useless) CPU players to unsuspecting newbie owners.
(4) He suggested that the high playoff seeds could choose the teams they play in the playoffs, seeing as how the system EVERY LEAGUE WITH A PLAYOFF USES was somehow unfair. After all, if he wanted his team to play the little sisters of mercy, why shouldn't they?
(5) he took the regular loans from the game, designed to help built up the stadium, then trolled the forum looking for additional loans from other teams. He's built the most complete stadium of anybody but is almost out of money. His ticket prices are nearly twice the expected price listed.
The gamble may pay off. If he survives he's going to have the most complete stadium in the game and have a definite monitary advantage for next few seasons. Or he may crash and burn.
He won a number of games in the first season but lost in the second round. He's also lost his first game this season.
Whenever I want to find good comedy I search for one of his posts.

I wondered why you guys had stopped talking about the game then realized you were in the same division as one of my players.
Don't worry, I wasn't here to spy.

Had my best game today. 73-0 whipping of some team that doesn't belong in Cananda Pro and had 20 pancakes in 53 plays to boot.

Detroit Millens, although looking it's on the other side and the two teams havent played each other (and won't this season unless it's a championship)

The players I have are Concrete Shadikawlalowski of the Detroit Millens,
http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=111
Steve Jordan of the Minnesota Viktors,
http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=54
and Ron Yary, currently with the FC Hezbollah but destined for a Minnesota Team.
http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=1653
The FC Hezbollah is an experimental team. We made guys with very high stamina (48) to see how much playing time they could endure and how fast they could upgrade. Stamina and energy levels seem to be the big issue this season.

we've been kicking the hell out of some of the teams we've played. last game was 52-0...

The Millens were doing the same but have lost the last two games. The Viktors were undermanned then the owner flooded the depth chart with his other team and destroyed team chemistry.
This game is more fun when your winning. Funny how that works out!
