Re: Vikings vs. Rams
Mayfield 4 picks. That makes it hard to win with any coach.
Re: Vikings vs. Rams
I don’t know if I like him that much. Just that imo Stefanski couldn’t bring in Any more disappointment to me than Zimmer.i didn't think he was doing that bad,I am not mayfield as the QB
I saw an article I do not recall...titled something like 3 coached Vikings could/should hire. I dint put a lot into it, as no one knows who anyone will actually sign. Kind of like the experts pricking all the right first round picks for each team. He wrote up three names. What There accomplishments..
The only one I recall is the offensive coordinator of the Dallas cowboys.
I will see if I can find it.
Reality I want change.

I agree a change is needed. We are caught in the middle of nowhere at this point. This fighting to be 500 is boring as hell. Steph would be better than Zim and I give the guy credit for his work on the Browns.Foreman44 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 25, 2021 9:49 pmI don’t know if I like him that much. Re: Vikings vs. Rams
Earlier this week when he was at his presser Zimmer said that if Cousins tested positive for Covid that we would be ok, Mannion couldn’t get Covid because he was vaccinated.
Well Mannion tested positive and Mond is Cousins backup.

Just heard this, Mond is active as the backup today.

Ha!
Put another way, we're one sprained ankle — or aggravated rib injury — away from Kellen Mond taking the keys in the most important game of the year.
Nice.
Go ahead. I dare you.

Re: Vikings vs. Rams
What I think is funny is despite all the predictions of doom and gloom, the unvaccinated Cousins hasn't missed a second of the regular season due to the disease. He made a ridiculous decision not to get vaccinated, but he is hyper-vigilant about the protocols and I was confident he wouldn't miss any time.J. Kapp 11 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 26, 2021 11:12 amHa!

Osborn catch the freaking football.
Re: Vikings vs. Rams
And I certainly don't expect this particular coaching staff to have significantly helped him to improve his game.J. Kapp 11 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 26, 2021 11:12 amHa!

What a game for Barr. He's been all the offense for the Vikings so far.

Re: Vikings vs. Rams
On that punt return I saw 3 vikings with the angle who could have easily stopped him, but they waited around until it was too late. The two FGs of 23 and 24 yards really sux. Should have got TDs.

Re: Vikings vs. Rams
How about him not filling his lanes all game long. How about him always slow to dx the run and that's why the huge holes are happening. The ints look nice but he had a terrible game.VikingsVictorious wrote: ↑Sun Dec 26, 2021 2:52 pm What a game for Barr. He's been all the offense for the Vikings so far.

Re: Vikings vs. Rams
Well, there you go.
I said Special Teams would be a key to the game, and we basically lost the game on a punt return. Other than that, the game was even. The Vikings just aren't good enough to win games giving up touchdowns on special teams.
Proud of the defense. They played hard and held the Rams down for the most part. You're not going to shut that team out, but to pick Matthew Stafford three times and hang in there for most of the game was a good showing.
KJ Osborn had a nice game, but his drop at the goal line leading to the interception was so huge. Ball hit him right in the hands. Gotta bring that one in.
Tough game against a really good team. Both teams were down several players, but they were just a bit better thanks to the punt return.
Oh ... and it was nice to watch a game that didn't feature the referees. Very few flags, no blatantly bad calls that I can remember.

I agree. He never seems to make the right reads. I feel He’s a big part of why the run d is so bad. Need a LB like EJ to blow up runsYikesVikes wrote: ↑Sun Dec 26, 2021 4:06 pmHow about him not filling his lanes all game long.
