Yannick signed with Raiders. Ravens made a bad trade also. There's more to this than we will ever know. How many top pass rushers bounce around like this? There right behind QBs in value. Every team needs them.Maelstrom88 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 15, 2021 9:30 pm Trade or Dozier![]()
On a side note: Trade a second for Yannick, get a 3rd back, then watch him make bank in the off-season and you sold him at a loss.

Yannick sucks.
Trading for him was an error. Trading him away and recouping something was a good move.

You may be right. Or it may be that the Vikings and Ravens just couldn't spend the cap it takes to secure him long term. We will see how he does in Vegas.CharVike wrote: ↑Tue Mar 16, 2021 5:47 amYannick signed with Raiders. Ravens made a bad trade also. There's more to this than we will ever know. He can play well if he wants to. That's a big if though.RandyMoss84 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 16, 2021 9:15 amHe probably will do well just like Carlson just to spite VikingsMaelstrom88 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 16, 2021 9:12 am

They don't fit any budget. They will be available again soon. Thing is a team needs to spend the min cap space. They threw it somewhere. If there was some QBs available it would go there. NFL needs many more quality QBs. That's always been the case. But our backs aren't against the wall. We are in the same spot we've been in and will be for some time out. Fighting for a wild card again. None of those guards would change that. Our O was no 4 last year. What's wrong with that? We need a pass rush monster at DE and DT. I don't see any. They are all signed. Just like the QBs.Husker Vike wrote: ↑Mon Mar 15, 2021 9:51 pm Feiler looks like a complete bargain now, agree that Zeitler and Thuney were too high priced for our budget, but I am disappointed in our front office for not having more space cleared before today. Now our backs are against the wall and to top it off, we may be dealing with a disgruntled star defensive end!

That sounds bleak but if we get hot at the end it could work with what we got. We see that every year. Like that Buc D. That D peaked at the right time. The 49ers won a playoff game throwing few passes. That D peaked at the right time. If our D peaked in Philly Foles wouldn't have ripped them apart. That's how it goes.CharVike wrote: ↑Tue Mar 16, 2021 12:07 pmThey don't fit any budget. They will be available again soon. Thing is a team needs to spend the min cap space. They threw it somewhere. Re: Interior offensive line free agents.
Again, Tomlinson has played all over the line and has played plenty of 3 tech as well. Pierce is a guaranteed NT. Tomlinson can play both and yes, 1000% they will both be on the field at the same time.YikesVikes wrote: ↑Mon Mar 15, 2021 10:46 pmFor the money we gave Dalvin (DT) we could have gotten Short or Ford. Would have rather roll the dice with them. I don't like Dalvin's balance and speed off the ball. He gets washed down a lot on OL handoffs. Love that he is healthy who has played 16 games on a regular. Will we be running him and Pierce at the same time? He and peirce seem to play the same NT position.Pondering Her Percy wrote: ↑Mon Mar 15, 2021 10:21 pm
Yeah because overall I don’t necessarily believe that. I’m simply ticked off with this current situation. Even though we did just sign Tomlinson which now gives us an excellent interior
And to be honest man, did you really just try and question Tomlinsons ability vs the run? When you were trying to defend Eric Wilson who was downright horrid against the run? Dalvin Tomlinson was 2nd in the entire NFL in terms of overall run defense from 2017-2020. I think the last thing you should be critiquing is his run defense. He has been near elite in that regard and as consistent as they come.

You want to compare LBs vs. DTs ability to stop the run?Pondering Her Percy wrote: ↑Tue Mar 16, 2021 12:42 pmAgain, Tomlinson has played all over the line and has played plenty of 3 tech as well. Also, I am not an Eric Wilson fan. I felt based on his contract, he was a better option than Barr last season. Barr is more talented but neither would be my starting LB choice.
Also, one critique of his game doesn't mean I said he is bad. I said this based on the Giants games I watched last season (being in DC and a native New Yorker), I noticed that on down blocks, he gave up ground. Also, this is on both pass and run game. That's how you get to him. Engage with him with a center or guard, release him and down block with the other OL. He's still a stud and I am excited. I just salivate about Ford and Short a bit more.
