I don't think AD was exactly the reason we won the first two games this year. I think we can win without him, too. If they defend the pass more, McKinnon will have holes and he has great moves and breakaway speed.FullWood wrote:With out Adrian Peterson were done.
I think Cam Newton will show why he was the reigning National League Most Valuable Player of the year of 2015.

This team is gonna be better without AD. Just watch.soflavike wrote: I don't think AD was exactly the reason we won the first two games this year. I think we can win without him, too. If they defend the pass more, McKinnon will have holes and he has great moves and breakaway speed.

He had a great season. I was particularly impressed wit his K/BB ratio. Kershaw gave him a solid run for his money.FullWood wrote:

Of course my area is covering the Packers game. Of COURSE.

Seems critical to get some good minutes from Rhodes. Hope he's up for it.dead_poet wrote: Yes. Guessing they're easing him back in.

Your on your own...but you need to take control.dead_poet wrote:On a side note, my wife is wearing a Carolina shirt because she loves Cam Newton if anyone wants to buy a slightly-used traitor.
I'm also looking to sell her ticket to the Lions game in November for this backstabbery.

It'll be interesting to see how our offense reacts to not having the box stacked. McKinnon gives this team options we don't have when AP is in. I think we'll see some major yards after the catch from McKinnon today.soflavike wrote: I don't think AD was exactly the reason we won the first two games this year. Blair Walsh needs to be on his game today. I think 2 late field goals puts us on top.

Anybody think we could see some Kearse today? I would think it depends on how things go.Nunin wrote: Seems critical to get some good minutes from Rhodes. Hope he's up for it.

He really did have a great season. I was bummed they didn't roll Denver.
Hope he plays like Fig Newton today
Re: Vikings @ Panthers Game Day Discussion Thread -- Week 3
I think they'll be less predictable on offense without the one dimensional AD in the game. And more importantly, they can't possibly run the ball worse than AD in the first two games.purplehaze wrote: This team is gonna be better without AD. Just watch.
Re: Vikings @ Panthers Game Day Discussion Thread -- Week 3
I'd be down for some of that, but would prefer if it was planned rather than adjusting to some inadequacy on Sendejo's part.halfgiz wrote: Anybody think we could see some Kearse today? I would think it depends on how things go.

Ugh. I cannot wait until I am done with doctoral school and can move out of Eastern Iowa. Six years of undergrad and post-grad of having to stream games online because apparently Green Bay gets precedence over Minnesota when Chicago is not playing at noon.

I can't agree. I think teams planned to stop the run because our QB was average to below average. Which is why AP didn't show much production.purplehaze wrote: This team is gonna be better without AD. Just watch.

I think the Vikings either win a close one, or lose a blowout. Idk which one though...
