Lynch it out. Didn't even make the trip.
Vikings fan since Nov. 6, 1966. Annoying Packer fans since Nov. 7, 1966
Re: Wildcard Weekend Predictions: Vikings vs Seahawks
With that there I would try and play nickel all day and dare them to run it, seriously. Wilson is on fire and no marquee running back there, take the high road

Seattle will be without their top running back when they take on the Minnesota Vikings.
Marshawn Lynch (abdominal) has been downgraded to out, the Seahawks announced.
Lynch did not travel with the team to Minnesota, according to NFL Media's Steve Wyche.
The nine-year veteran was previously listed as questionable. Lynch has only played in seven games this season.

Bruce Irvin wants to make Teddy Bridgewater scared again.
The Seahawks’ outside linebacker considers the Minnesota Vikings quarterback a “really good friend” from his college days at West Virginia when Bridgewater was at Louisville. Irvin has Bridgewater’s purple Vikings game jersey hanging in the middle of his locker at Seahawks’ headquarters.

Someone on the Vikes needs to kick his butt, maybe Zach Line or Pruitt can get that done

Re: Wildcard Weekend Predictions: Vikings vs Seahawks
I honestly preferred that Lynch played. He was pretty ineffective before he got hurt and then he's out for a couple months and comes back against one of the best defenses in the league, being rusty in 1 degree weather? Yes, please.
He could have done something, but I think it was more likely he just ruins the flow the offense has been on the past few weeks as they try to get him involved. Now even more of a percentage of the plays will be dialed up specifically for Russell. That's the only guy that scares me.

Re: Wildcard Weekend Predictions: Vikings vs Seahawks
Funny how he was at full practice the entire week. Wonder if it was just a ploy so the Vikings had to spend time and watch film to prepare for him.Purple bruise wrote: Here is the scoop:

This is an interesting read:
Vikings-Seahawks Key Matchup: Bridgewater vs. the Legion of Boom
Vikings-Seahawks Key Matchup: Bridgewater vs. the Legion of Boom
More at the link. When the Minnesota Vikings and Seattle Seahawks played in Minnesota just over a month ago, the Seahawks challenged Teddy Bridgewater to prove he could beat them. Bridgewater couldn't do it. He finished the game 17 of 28 for a meager 117 yards. He didn't throw a touchdown and was picked off once, by Earl Thomas. His 4.21 yards per attempt mark was his lowest of the season.
This Sunday, the Seahawks are exceedingly likely to make Bridgewater prove he can beat them yet again. They'll likely do this by playing eight men in the box to stop Adrian Peterson and the Minnesota run game, and by playing Richard Sherman, DeShawn Shead, and Jeremy Lane up on the line of scrimmage and right in the faces of Stefon Diggs, Mike Wallace, and Jarius Wright, even if the trio of corners then drop right back into Seattle's familiar Cover-3 look.
