Perhaps Peterson should consider new representation.

He looks really "punchable" in the picture, doesn't he?

Anyone ever seen the movie The ringer? With jonny knoxville? I think Dogra looks exactly like one of the handicapped dudes in the special Olympics in that movie.http://cache.reelz.com/assets/content/r ... 182_03.jpg

Between CAA firing Dogra and the exodus of clients we're seeing, you do have to wonder if he has a problem and people are bailing before his issues rub off on their careers.

That's probably melodramatic but there seem to be a lot of warning signs with this guy.
Its one thing to work hard for your client, to physically almost fight a teams top personal, at the NFL Combine
with reporters around?? That's nuts...

The NFL owners are a small little elite group, Ben Dogra is pushing a group, that might just
push back. He could and might already be black listed in NFL circles ...

Peterson is likely to get a worse organization and team to play for, and make less money as well...

Good points and I agree.

This moron of an "ägent" is just another bit of proof that AP has no sense or intelligence. He whose THIS guy to represent him, he lets this guy act like a fool, attack a respected member of the Vikes management in a near physical brawl, burn what few bridges AP had left in the league.....Honestly, what was the last smart decision AP ever made?

Thanks. That was a good listen and he did a much better job of articulating what I was trying to express the other day when we were posting here, which is that if this goes on long enough, at some point it's just likely to really grate on Zimmer and the team. Dogra's obviously trying to push their buttons now to get his client out of town. It's a strategy that makes sense, even if it's annoying. Actually, it makes sense because it's annoying.

It's really a boneheaded move in my opinion. It's the last resort option for them that I can't see changing anything other than teams wanting to avoid his clients if this is how it'll be when they want something but don't have leverage. They should know that no amount of annoyance is going to make them take less compensation than they think he's worth and if they'd been offered said compensation he'd be gone already.

Having to answer the same questions over and over is part of the coaching gig, they'll get over it.

It's a strategy that doesn't reflect well on him or his client so I agree that in a long term sense, it could prove to be boneheaded and damage Dogra's reputation.

Sigh... will we ever get another Vikes offseason with no stupid drama?

Haven't had a chance to listen to this yet but I said a while ago that keeping an unhappy Peterson around isn't fair to the team and especially to Zimmer and Teddy. They don't need this distraction going into their second season. They dealt with enough issues and distractions in their first season.

Maybe I'm wrong here but I think everything Zimmer is publicly saying right now is coming from Spielman and/or ownership. He doesn't seem like the type of guy who wants to put up with someone who doesn't want to be here. This was one of his first interviews regarding Peterson this offseason:
“If he was just dead set against it and he wasn’t gonna be happy where he’s at, then we’d discuss maybe something else, but I just don’t see that happening. I think he’s happy with the progress of where the organization is going, I think he’s happy with the way Teddy [Bridgewater] is playing and the things we’re trying to do to improve this football team and hopefully he’s excited to be part of it,” Zimmer said.

I wouldn't be surprised if that's still his true feeling on all of this but he's having to put on a front publicly because of trade value.

Hardy just got suspended 10 games. Does this free up a good amount of cap space for the Cowboys? Time for them to get desperate with their trade offers?

The more and more i read I really dont think the cowboys are willing to make a trade for AP. atleast, not for what the Vikings want in return.
