Meh...Exum played safety his first two years I think and transition to the CB. I think he tore his ACL last year as well.

So a guard and back to back DB's for Zimmer to work with, I suppose we saw this coming given how day 1-2 went.

James? Did anyone even have him on their board? Heck I don't even know who it is. I guess that don't like FL DBs.

He and Exum were projected as picks 136 and 132 (respectively), so they both seem to be good value in the 6th.

I imagine it's the former but the depth he perceived in this draft may be why he wanted 10 picks in the first place.

Yeah I see what you said but every pick has something to do with you shaking your head. Like what did you expect here? It was either that or safety.

Getting lots of value Day 2 so far. Exum will by Minnesota "Killa" Kam Chanchellor.

Still need ILB. Skov and Bullough. Tahj Boyd in the 7th?

Yeah just heard that too. If I ever listen to any of these analysts, it's Bill Polian. He's one of the best GMs the league has seen. Unlike Kiper and McShay, the guy knows what he's talking about

Maybe James will return punts. But if Zimmer and crew think they can teach Robinson to play, they should be able to get this guy to play. Or maybe they are hoping the front 4 and LBs wont even give the QB a chance to see who he is throwing to.

Sounds like Exum showed a lot of promise before the torn ACL. Something to be expected of these late round picks. I read he didn't tear it on the field but while he was playing basketball. James seems like a Sherels type player.

Yeah, at this point you're looking for someone with talent but some other reason they fell this far, usually it's injuries, sometimes it's a character thing. Mauti was the perfect example from last year with his knees.

Interesting, CBS sports has Exum and James ranked back-to-back as the #19 and #20 corners. Both have 4th round grades.
