Toughness? He missed his first playoff game because of a bruise and it was a game time decision. Then he misses a couple of games because of a "broken rib" but was listed as the backup. Then they declared him out of the Redskins game before he even went to the locker room to get the shoulder checked out. Lets not forget how we couldn't bring in any competition or how we had to coddle him this whole time. Tough is hardly the right word to describe Ponder. I think you meant to say fragile.

You got that right. And don't forget, Cassel was moved to inactive 3rd string after starting the previous 2 and the guy with the "broken rib" that he replaced was moved to backup.

I hope this injury doesn't keep him out too long. We need the real noodle arm to play enough for the club to have no doubt in picking up one of the great options at QB in next years draft.
I actually like the guy, he never gives up and try's his best with what limited skills he has to offer. But with him under centre, we will never compete, and we will waste possibly one of the greatest RB's that I've seen in 15 years of watching football.
