living near Chicago I see Marshall play every sunday...the similarities end at the looks. Webb ain't no Marshall.Purplemania wrote: I said it before, but he looks like a Brandon Marshall clone up there. Built with strong tall shoulders. Also has nice leaping abilities.

Re: Vikings @ 49ers Game Day Discussion Thread -- Preseason
I don't think Webb is as accomplished when it comes to running routes. It appears that the coaching staff doesn't see him above Burton... he didn't see the field tonight until well into the 3rd Qtr.PurpleKoolaid wrote:Burton isn't even ahead of Webb, certainly not Wright. Burton caused the INT and the delay of game in the same series. Webb made a great catch and the TD. Ive seen enough of Burton over the years as a WR to know he isn't the 5th. Webb, in his first year, is a better blocker, can catch better, leap better, and run better routes., and so far I haven't seen him quite mid way on a route.

The last offensive series proves that Ponder given the time CAN make positive plays on a regular basis with his arm.

Don't hate on my Buckeyes. Some of the best Vikings went to Ohio State.

Stephen Burton has more tools and can be used in more situations than Jarius Wright.
Greg Jennings has shown so little thus far that it's starting to look like the Vikings will be a team with exactly one, not two, offensive stars this season.

Audie Cole is not helping his case there...

Leave it up to Jared to tell it like it is on national TV. What a stud.
Dirty play, indeed!
