This is a great day in vikings history. AD named MVP and Cris Carter elected into the hall of fame. A well deserved award for Peterson, one of the greatest players to ever play in the NFL. congrats to him on an unbelievable season. I am proud to be a vikings fan.

This is their headline for the MVP winner: The voting? Peterson received 30½ votes from a nationwide panel of 50 media members who regularly cover the NFL. Manning, who also won the Comeback Player of the Year award, got the other 19½ votes for MVP.


Now if you read the rest of the article, the comment for comback player of the year: To be consistent, they should change it to "Peterson easily beats Manning for MVP" or "Manning edges Peterson for comback player of the year."

I guess we know who they wanted to win MVP. I have to disagree with PotGoblin though: I don't think those lines have anything to do with disdain for the Vikes. I think they're all about love for Peyton Manning. The media has been fawning all over the guy for years.
