I am really disappointed in first-pick's draft algorithm this year. No way the Vikings are lucky enough to trade back to 22 and get Pitts since I don't even think they will be lucky enough to have him fall to 14. If he does, you run to the podium to draft him.

Not anymore a waste than when the Vikings drafting Randy Moss with Reed already in that #2 WR spot. Or when they drafted AP with Chester Taylor on the roster.

Vikings only drafted them because they have too much talent to pass up, I doubt Kyle will fall to #14 anyway, I think he is going to Falcons

I agree about Pitts at 4, but he fell in this mock. So I took him.

I think they run to the podium to draft Pitts if he's on the board at #14. Heck, Pitts is one of 2 players I'd be happy to see Spielman trade up to get (the other being Lawrence, but that isn't going to happen).

Also curious which draft simulator you think does the best job this year. I like the PFF simulator because it allows trades and gives grades, but I've found it is also a little sloppy with some players constantly being on the board well past the point they should have come off. I end up taking them just because the value is way too good to pass up, but it's not realistic.

Some of the other simulators are decent but I also find players sliding well past where they probably should go, so I wonder if the algorithms are messed up due to the lack of consistent data to feed into the models. The lack of a 2020 season and Combine look like they've thrown a wrench into the eval process in more ways than one. Who knows? Maybe that will produce some big surprises in the draft this year too.

Pitts is the next Megatron, except you can put him on the LOS with his hand in the dirt or line him up wide. Whatever you do, the defense has to pay him special attention or he'll scorch them.

He's a complete mismatch. Defensive coordinators are going to struggle to find a way to cover him without giving up something somewhere else. You put a guy like Pitts on the field with the offensive weapons the Vikings already have and good luck to defensive coordinators.

Irv Smith is good, but he's not a mismatch like that.
